Somebody should make a video and explain why this game has no dedicated serves or option to rent ones, why they give u worthless facebook like service for extra 50 bucks a year and why people fall for this crap ?

Nothing beats a lan party with a few friends don't need to worry about internet connection speed, ping ect, though it can be a hassle to set up lol

Yeah... I remember having LAN parties with friends playing BF2. That CO-OP feeling is the best

Lag compensation: Averages all the pings in a game, Adds more latency to people under the average ping and gives a high priority to people with bad connections.

Thats why it will seem like your shooting someone but when the killcam shows it 'apparantly' they fired first. just gives the lower the ping the longer real laggers have to pull off an insta kill.

One more reason they need dedicated servers. It won't fix it but it sure makes it more of a level playing field. Especially since the host no longer has such a crazy advantage.

You would have thought with all the money they make each year they could offer some dedicated servers. It would make the multiplayer less frustrating.

I think this "Lag Compensation" is a terrible idea. Why punish the people with good connections?

I agree with you 100%. The reason activision doesn't is simple; the amount of people playing to the cost of the amount of dedicated servers needed to make it perfect would be astronomical for them. They are selling millions and millions on p2p, why switch now?

I have to admit out of all the p2p games I have played, I haven't run into a lot of lag on this game (xbox 360 version is what I have). Sure, I do run into games where it lags here and there, but overall, when I get killed a lot of the times my cross-hairs were not on the target immediately and the other person killed me fairly. The only noticeable lag for me is when you appear to be behind a corner of a stone/cement building and the bullets still kill you.

This fck up alone makes MW3 unplayable. No matter how good you are, your frames 'stop' in favor of the other and you always lose out.
