Nice list Qwark.

Mine would be:

1.Dead Space 2
2.Mortal Kombat
3.Skyrim
4.Uncharted 3
5.Gears of War 3

Also, they rather put Deus EX as #5 instead of Gears of War 3? Thats one weird opinion. o.o

TheLastGuardian4556d ago

cobblestone194556d ago

Mine are:
1. Uncharted 3
2. LittleBigPlanet 2
3. Skyrim
4. Zelda: Skyward Sword
5. Gears 3

I have to say... Anyone who does not put Uncharted 3 on their list is either crazy or has not played the game.

DanJenkoFMV4555d ago

Agreed! As I said in piece, Uncharted was the game that really stood out for me, but Portal 2, Skyrim and LBP2 were all really good.

Pikajew4556d ago (Edited 4556d ago )

1. Zelda: Skyward Sword
2. Portal 2
3. Minecraft
4. Bastion
5. Orcs must Die

These are my top 5

I didnt play batman or uncharted 3 yet

aquamala4556d ago

you must own only one console

TheLastGuardian4556d ago

What other type of exclusives do you expect him to list? The other systems barely got any exclusives this year. At least he owns the most important console.

evilunklebud4555d ago

Replace lbp2 and infamous2 with forza and gears and I agree!

Jappy-k74556d ago

-Dark souls
-Skyward Sword

I'm Replaying Skyrim (again), and So Should You

Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.

I tried, but it's a poorly made game that insults its customers.

lucian22946d ago

nah, only mods make it decent, and even then it's bad, and this is after i modded for at least 3 years

Nittdarko46d ago

Funnily enough, I'm about to play it for the first time in VR with 1000 mods to make the game playable, as is the Bethesda way

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave46d ago (Edited 46d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
