LA Noire: Complete Edition confirmed for Xbox 360 and PS3

Rockstar has confirmed that the LA Noire: Complete Edition will be coming to both Xbox 360 and PS3 this November.

I Was looking forward to it before it came out, and it had some great reviews, but afterwards more and more people complained about it being too lineair, plus there are already lots of other great games coming out these days...

Also curious to see if now all the content DOES fit on 1 bluray, cause before they said it wouldn't.

its a great game, I would describe it as a very focused open world game, you can go off the beaten path if you like but the main story line is really good.

I would freaking waited. I love LA Noire to death, but it was annoying that the DLC was seperated when it adds to the story. I hope they integrate the DLC and not keep them seperated in the Case Files. There should be no reason for any suits, cases, weapons, or collectables to be seperated. Complete means you can get it all on your playthrough in the main game. Either way, if you haven't played this game, you should. It's a turn in a new direction in a R* title, but I am a huge noir film fan and a lover of case related games like Ace Attorney on DS so I really enjoyed it, and hopefully you all too.

Editions like this always makes me wonder why should we buy games on day one?

Look at Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom. More characters, more stages more stuff and for $20 less than the original game that has less stuff in it.

I'm seriously thinking not getting games from now on on day one.

and if the game doesnt come out with complete editions with all the dlc you just pick it up used and there goes their potential sale.

then they come with online passes and try to justify it coz of used game sales.

its a vicious cycle.

I like what Logicwings said the other day. When you buy a game you should get all the DLC for free. That would reward you for buying the game and keeping it. You would get a code for you downloads. That would reduce used game sales. If you buy the game used you would have to purchase the DLC.

But if the people who originally bought it (aka me) didn't purcahse it in the first place guys wouldn't be getting a 'Complete Edition'.

So sometimes its not good to wait.

im sure they know they have the option to sell a complete box set to make extra money off the same game.

so even if they didnt make as much money from people like you buying it when it releases, bundling it with all the DLC will make others <like me> buy it now.

There are exception to the "I'll wait for the Complete edition version". Games like Skyrim, there is no way I am waiting till next fall to get a cheaper, complete edition. I am getting it on day one.

Yeah all this DLC rubbish is going to start working against them. Didn't pickup LA Noire for this reason, DX:HR and going to hold off getting batman. Think from now on, any game that has DLC planned from the start isn't getting purchased until its all bundled for me.

I too am waiting for Arkham City, and I'm glad I waited for this instead of buying LANoire day 1.

I wouldve done the same for Deus Ez, heck I probably shouldve now that the missing link dlc is out and overpriced, but its just too good of a game.

Why oh why do people do this. Like MvC3, I feel cheated out of my money considering the game came out 6 months ago. Sure I enjoyed it. One of the more unique games I've played this generation, but come on Rockstar. The game isn't even half a year old yet.

so glad i saw this, was going to buy it from Gamefly for 17 bucks and buy the DLC.. think ill just wait... even tho ill probably woudl have been out of the same amount of money. Also, thats why i use gamefly, rent the games i want to play and send em back, then when things like this happen just go pick it up. OR buy it later much cheaper and then pick up all the DLC durin the deals of the week deals.

Yep, I'm pretty much done with day one purchases. I can save money, have all the patches, updates and dlc included in the game and the price will be cheaper if I just wait.
