Can Marcus Fenix actually be classed as a Space Marine? He's a COG soldier and has never, as far as I'm aware, been in space. What do you guys think, is he a space marine?

So the best space marine is the actor who played a pilot and a pilot/ESP samurai ? 'Kay.
And the only mention that the guys who actually STARTED it all (Jame's Cameron's Colonial Marines in Aliens) get is #10, a guy with a robot arm in the Aliens Vs. Predator arcade game?

Gogs are space troops? Aren't they more like hypogeal/subterranean marines? And aren't COG troops they more like a declining garrisoning army than a self sufficient expeditionary force meant to fight overseas or at least outside of the homeland? I think someone has 'sci-fi trooper' mixed up with Space Marine.
And finally Master Chief was a Special Operations Navy type. He certainly fought with marines but he wasn't one himself.
Turok should've been on the list.
