The titles misleading. Its actually a "PS Plus exclusive" offer as opposed to a PSN exclusive offer. You need to be a PS Plus member to take advantage of the deal.

That's probably not entirely without merit. They may have figured that long-time playstation fans would be the ones to have owned RE4 already and be PS+ subscribers today. Thus, a cheaper price would be better incentive to buy if you already had a copy.

Never played an RE game before but the only one on offer or free in this case is RE1. I was planning to get 1-4 and buy 5 from the store to get the full experience.

No Playstation Move support & no platinum trophy? That's a good reason to discount these titles. Unless you're a die-hard RE fan, we have no business supporting these half-assed ports. Yes, we know Live will have a sale as it always does on it's titles. It just won't be determined by Capcom when it will happen.

We complain becasue it's BS. Why would they give Xbox 1000G and not the plat treatment for PS3? Would it have been that hard to add a lousy trigger in the code for a platinum? This would have added much more value to the game for those of us who want more of a reason to repurchase. Then they get lazy and fail to include Move Support, which is just about the greatest thing to happen to RE4 when it dropped on the Wii. Now we find out the games will have Capcom DRM...Just like Bionic Commando 2 & Final Fight DE. I'm done with Capcom until they get their heads out of their asses.

its not like you get an achievement for 1000 points! thats just a total. It has the same amount as 360 at the end of the day.

Move would not work well with how these games play. the over the shoulder is to close.Also you need pin point shots in RE4. And the DRM is because people would share games on ps3! You can't pull that on 360.

@jetlian:On PS3, you get a Platinum trophy for unlocking all the other trophies in that game. The problem here is, RE4 has trophies, but when you get them all, you won't be rewarded with the Platinum trophy. And there is absolutely no good reason to leave the plat out of it!

Getting a Platinum is a sense of accomplishment, when you get it, there usually isn't much left to do in a game, unless the trophies just suck. And btw, I checked and they do suck! Seems like there are only 3 trophies you can miss (get all costumes, get all caps, complete the game on hardest difficulty), others are story related.

Where are trophies for:

- Weapon upgrades?
- Completing the game with less than a certain number of saves and/or deaths, in a certain time, with a certain amount of kills?
- Helping the dog?
- Multiple kills with one grenade?
- Ada side mission?
- Mercenaries mode?

You're digging youself deeper into a hole with that arguement.

1) Do you understand how trophies work? Games without a plat are the equivalent of 200G. RE4 and CV would have all Gold trophies and a plat if they were on the same level as 1000G.

2) Have you even played Resident Evil 4 on the Wii? It's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Don't take my word for it, check out these reviews

Unless you know something I don't, I'm pretty sure the Playstation Move is just as capable of an experience.

3) What if I have more than one Playstation? How does DRM help me out then? Last time I checked the 360 has detachable HDD's. Regardless, DRM is the least of my worries, it's a pain in the ass, and the icing on the cake.

I'm really not trying to be difficult here, just saying I've done my research and have reason for all of the hate.

I feel Capcom has missed an opportunity with both of these games....both are great titles from last gen, so alot of potential for introducing people, some of whom are new gamers to these titles. Trophies / Achievements are the norm now so i just feel Capcom have been rather lazy in this respect

If so I might think about picking it up.... if not I will take a pass as I just did not like the controls when I tried to play it on the Wii.... it's just too damn annoying to be aiming like a lightgun but not using the trigger as a trigger....
