Max Payne 3 details

It’s almost exactly 10 years since Rockstar Games and Remedy worked together on the original Max Payne, and eight years since Max Payne 2.

With Max Payne 3, Rockstar Studios’ aim was to use every tool at their disposal – from advances in Euphoria physics, particle effects and AI, to a new creative approach to Max’s classic comic-book panels, combined with Rockstar’s notoriously obsessive attention to detail – to create a highly cinematic action shooter.

Solid_Snake-4645d ago (Edited 4645d ago )

@shut up.......NO....you shut up BOY.

cupcake is right this will be another duke nukem forever.....max payne + cover system + bald headed tough guy in Sao Paulo = FAIL.

anyone who respected max payne in the day will not be happy with this.

i am not purchasing this game due to my love for max payne and do not want to give my money to these guys in case they get the idea that this kind of game is the way max payne is supposed to be.

EDIT:@disagrees.....never played max payne i take it.

Finger-Eater4645d ago (Edited 4645d ago )

He is only bald when the game takes place later in his life, the game isnt always set in that time period. As for cover system this isn't the PS2 and Xbox days anymore, it unrealistic to not have a cover system and would feel outdated and not right.

This sounds really cool actually.

I'm not buying this game unless it's done by remedy

Ex-Rockstar Dev Finally Explains Why Small Planes Randomly Crashed in GTA San Andreas

Former Rockstar Games Technical Director Obbe Vermeij has finally revealed why some planes would randomly crash in GTA: San Andreas.

Profchaos41d ago

This fly by feature was on the cutting room floor due to the random plane crashes and it's one of those things I'm so thankful made it into the final version as these random fly by and crashes make the world seem more alive on the extremely limited PS2 hardware you needed everything you could possibly get in a open world to convey that feeling.

And accross hundreds of hours of gameplay I probably died around 3 times as a result of these fly by failures but I loved every time it happened

isarai41d ago (Edited 41d ago )

It made the world feel more human, and honestly kinda insane that even today with all these open world games, almost no one can capture that like R* even when compared to their ps2 games

Skuletor40d ago

Lol, I remember those. I vaguely remember dying from one crashing into my car once too.

Will never forget these games on the PS2 and Xbox. Max Payne 3 was awesome, more so the arcade mode.

Abnor_Mal131d ago

Can’t wait to replay these games with updated graphics.

Would also like a remastered Max Payne3.

Knightofelemia130d ago

Hope it's done better then the GTA trilogy.

EazyC130d ago

Indeed - and if it is another shameless cash grab, they shouldn't bother. It's an insult to these classic games.
