"At its heart, F.E.A.R. is still a good game. The combat is solid enough that you can still enjoy yourself while playing through F.E.A.R. Files, but the expansions do little to honor the torch they carry. Extraction Point is a decent, though brief, extension of the original title. Perseus Mandate, meanwhile, feels pointless -- a quick cash-in to remind us all that F.E.A.R. still exists before a full sequel. As an expansion disc, there is enough content here to warrant the retail release. That doesn't prevent it from feeling out of date and half-hearted." - Erik Brudvig, IGN
Ve3tro: "In a recent interview with the developers behind the upcoming sequel F.E.A.R.2. The team said the Playstation 3 has certain challenges that are unique, but so does the Xbox 360 and the PC."
Head over for the full interview.
After seeing games such as Killzone 2, Uncharted, Resistance 2, MGS4, and so forth, the only "challenge" I see is picking between a primo AAA first-party title on the PS3 or a half-a$$ed 3rd-party title that probably won't even get DLC support, and that's not much of a challenging choice for me...
The transition from F.E.A.R. to Project Origin may have resulted in a tragic loss of punctuation, but this sequel to the 2005 horror shooter has added more than a few visceral bells and whistles to make up for it. We were quite pleased to find this out during a run through the E3 2008 demo available to all passersby on the show floor. Whether it's a tweak to the shooting mechanics, the art direction (you'll actually see colors this time!), or the mech suit available to pilot at occasional moments in the game, Project Origin is looking like an excellent follow-up to its well-received predecessor.
There's a lot of [tough] characters scattered throughout the world of the Xbox 360. XBF takes a look at the top five characters on the Xbox 360 you'd never want to run into in a dark alley. They're not all bad guys, because sometimes even the good guys don't look too friendly.
The Hulk! How can the Hulk not be on there? "You won't like me when I'm angry".
edit:
Whoops, his game isn't out yet. But when it is, he should be number 1.

where the fck is KRATOS !!!:@ Kratos can easily beat all of them and he always has a treesome :D
Well I can only recommend Extraction Point since I already played that one, if you liked FEAR you are gonna LOVE extraction Point specially the top notch action since the games gives you the big guns very often (Laser Rifle and Minigun) but beware the scary parts in this one wont be as soft as in the original or Doom 3 kind of monster jumps out of the closet thing...this ones are PURE disturbing psychological terror and they come out when you least expect them...that really freaked me out >.>
Having to come out immediately after COD4 and fitting into the same genre. So sad.
Wow! The first game is better than the sequel.
the demo has put me off this game. i loved the 1st one (on pc) but it just looks dated now.
I liked FEAR so while I am interested in FEAR Files, with everything else coming out this month. I will probably wait in till next year to either rent or buy (depending on price).
