3D Classics: Three NES Games That Deserve The Honor (Modojo)

Chris Buffa (Modojo): We had high hopes for Nintendo's 3D Classics, 3D enabled NES games available for download through the 3DS eShop.

In a strange twist, it seems the publisher encountered some trouble bringing these games into the third dimension. Apparently, the company doesn't want to invest the man-hours creating a healthy library of hits. As a result, you'll have to make due with just six games for the time being.

Nintendo's Constant NES Recycling: Enough Already

Chris Buffa (Modojo): Nintendo does many things well, chief among them recycling old video games. There's obviously a market for this type of content, and with that being said, the company releases Super Mario Bros. and other classics on every device imaginable.

Wiiloveit.com: 3D Classics: Excitebike - 3DS Review

"I've never understood what's so exciting about Excitebike. I guess it's one of those games you had to grow up with to really appreciate. I've always felt that the original was just a decent game, so I was interested to see how I'd react to 3D Classics: Excitebike. As a person who purchased the 3DS at launch, I had the ability to pick this up for free, but since then, Nintendo has slapped a price tag on it (presumably to give early adopters one more reason to be satisfied with their initial purchase). And so, this is where this review comes in. By the end of it, hopefully you can determine for yourself whether or not it's worth picking up this enhanced version for $6." -- Wiiloveit.com
