i know they are a new studio and all of that
but making an uncharted clone is only going to hurt them
they lack funds and experience
and always they'll get compared to uncharted and ND which really hard for far more bigger studios let alone them

they should have started small with games on the iPhone and handhelds and maybe PSN/XBL/steam indie games
but this is just ... too much

Ok i think we are being a bit too hard on this guys...Its obviousy they are inspired by uncharted and they dont have the equipments to make a good and better game....If this guys could make a game like this with little funding and no real mordern equipment i think with the right help from a proper dev they can do better in future.

But nevertheless this game sucks.

yeah. tbh it doesn't bother me that they are ripping uncharted off. what bothers me is how broken it looks. for all i care graphics can be like this, but gameplay/animation needs fixing

I praise a foreign dev attmepting to creating a game first in their own country, however this is undeniably ripping off Uncharted.

Couldnt they have made some sort of fantasy adventure/platformer game instead? Wouldve been helluva lot more creative, and more effort wouldve been put into graphics/animaitions/gameplay, instead of focusing on MP.

I'm still undecided on whether this game is just someone taking the p!ss or what. The game looks ropey enough without the actual video of the multiplayer stating that the game "sucks", a statement I'm guessing was made by one of the developers.

TBH, it looks perfectly fine for a Wii game, or a game with a PS2-era budget. I'm glad devs never did go there. This IS a PSN game, though.

I actually find the arabian theme of the game unique, and cool, though. It might actually be worth the price, you never know.

Yes, the arabian part of the name is unique.
However, the devs behind this game >are copying another game.< So not much of this game is "unique". And budget is no excuse, the maker of Cave Story was inspired by Metroid and his game is almost nothing like Metroid. His budget? Not Much. His staff? Himself. These devs have NO excuse.

To stick up for this game is the same as sticking up for that crappy movie, Transmorphers (Transformers knock off).
I still stand by my point. If this game's sales are good, gaming will go to h*ll in a handbasket.

For all of saying it is a ripoff for Uncharted, I agree with you to a point. However the story they are going with is real, Ibn Battuta is an actual Person with Huge history in that area;I think for them to explore that Universe ( even though their game suck ) is a good Direction.

Plus, it is the first real attempt for an Arabic developer to try and make a game for a major console ( even though it is a PSN episodic game ). I will buy the game just for the support.

and all of you who says they got the money to make it better, you are just ignorant !!!! If you think you can do better, contact them, I'm pretty sure they will appreciate all the help they can get !!!!

Although they did try to ripoff the three main characters the story to this game is in fact based on a real person. They're making a game based on a real Arabian Scholar of Islam based in their country so I have no problems with that.

You're most likely getting disagrees from people who no nothing about history.

Or maybe people are disagreeing with him because the story's real-ness isn't the problem here. Uncharted follows a "real" story fairly loosly as well. No one cares about that. The game look HORRIBLE!

Well, thats the thing, we still have no idea how the story is gping to be, all we know it is following a greater scholar than Marco-polo; I think this in it is own should give the game a chance. I am arabic myself, and I have read "The Journy" when I was 12 years old, and it is an amazing story filled with a lot of cultural info, if they follow that alone, it should be interesting to see a game that takes on history as is.

You might be right and it can be just some spinoffs and fictional stories out of Ibn Batutta travel, in this case, I myself wouldn't like it.

It is my hopefull thinking of gamification, using games as a learning source without lossing the elemnt of fun, and thats how I see this game right now. ( if you are interested look up a book called "Game Farm" and you will see what I mean :))

I thought this was a mod for a second when i watching the video, i mean i guess its cool they they were inspired by uncharted but still comes down to the fact that it looks like they really need to work on it. if the story is good then it wont matter how bad everything else is if they sucks then who knows but if they have multiplayer vids then we knew its a split dev cycle more then likely so i can pretty much doubt the story being any good but who knows

Wait. I feel like this is a terrible idea. Taking one of the most loved games from this gen and making a crappy copy of it doesn't seem like it'll work out.

We've seen budget titles that came out good like Deadly Premonition because they were super creative and made the weirdest story ever and were ambitious. So it can obviously be done.....

I understand that this is an indie developer but they should have made something within their budget with unique and addictive gameplay(see Plants vs. Zombies).

The camera, animations, and everything else look awful. I feel sorry for the "talent" that worked on this.
