After a slight delay with this week’s update, the fourth Game Room title to hit Windows Phone 7, Game Room: Lunar Lander is available to download from the Zune Marketplace now. Following the same structure as previous Game Room titles, Game Room: Lunar Lander features a smart adaptation of the original control scheme for the touchscreen system.
It has been 10 years since Game Room released on Xbox 360. Josh Miller of VGU.tv discusses it's potential and why it deserves to return.
A tribute to classic Lunar Lander arcade will soon be available on iOS platform
This is a brief feature on the newly released casual PC game - Martian Marine Lander. It was developed by indie developer Christopher Robinson.
Martian Marine Lander is about world domination. It was inspired by the classic retro title Lunar Lander. The goal of this single player action/strategy game is to conquer the planet Earth by successfully landing a transport ship full of Martian marines in 40 key invasion zone locations. The player will need to defend themselves from various earth weapons, weather conditions and other obstacles that will try to prevent them from landing. It has two modes of play, a variety of upgrades and three levels of difficulty.
Martian Marine Lander is now available to try for free and purchase through their website at www.martianmarinelander.com.
I am a big fan of retro games and I am so glad that this game is inspired by one of my favorite retro titles.
I'm very concerned, that if the Martians go after the pyramids first, what's to stop them seizing our other landmarks?
I think we should start a petition to put guns on the Eiffel Tower.
