Ezio? This doesn't look so good. AC: Milkylations?

NewMonday4757d ago

some info:

- Ezio has a new item called the hookblade which allows him to use ziplines throughout the city. UBI says that it speeds up navigation by about 30%

- Eagles vision has become eagle sense. "Eagle sense let's you focus on a character and see where he's been," Amancio says. "You'll get an approximation of where he will go. If you're able to detect the path a guard will take, you can run ahead, set a bomb, and create a trap or an ambush."

-Gespenst-4757d ago

Oh for chrissakes enough with the milking comments already. Every single AC article...

Eamon4757d ago

yeah the trolling is going overboard. The fact the first comment has to be about milking and why did you even click on the link if you're not interested.

Viddharto4757d ago

I agree. I seriously don't mind having a new AC title every year, they make them to make the wait for AC3 easier. It's great that they can make such a good game in just a year, while most developers would make quick rushjobs that could really be called milking. It's not milking as long as it's a good game.

As i said previously he was almost 50 in the end of brotherhood.

After reading this detailed preview I went from being meh/dissapointed about the game to moderately excited about the game.

The positives.

#1. Replacing the traditional side missions with a random event system. As far as I am concerned randomness is alway is a very good thing. Using random events instead of traditional side missions technically gives the game unlimited replay value.

#2. Expanding the Borgia Tower concept. Especially good is you can now lose control of Dens you have captured making the game more dynamic, and exciting. Also being able to put a Master Assassin so u never lose control of a certain Den gives you more motivation, and incentive to level your Assassin's up.

#3. The hookblade. Being able to navigate the city faster, and not have to do boring climbing as much is certainly a good thing.

When will you decommission this new one? I’m only asking so I can be happier by not buying it at full price.

bunt-custardly620d ago

The dog Chorizo from FAR CRY 6 has wheelchair legs, so is hardly a decommissioned pet. In fact very useful for digging up dirt.

Historic Eras that Video Games Need to Explore

Xfire writes "Worldbuilding is a crucial part of any story. It's not an easy task to create a believable setting with its own set of rules, customs, traditions and political affiliations and then weave a story into the said setting. Luckily, storytellers and video game writers don't always need to create complex settings when we've got history books as thick as Big Chungus.

Historical eras make a fabulous setting for video games. They've already got the world-building nailed, complete with their own set of rules, customs, traditions and political affiliations. Honestly, I don't think I need to justify the fact that historical eras make an amazing setting for video games. If you don't believe me, just go ahead and play the Ghost of Tsushima or any of the Assassin's Creed games."

The first crusade would be pretty sweet. I’d probably enjoy any of those on your list if they were done respectfully. Like not some dork in Portland making a Russian Revolution game.

Benin Empire, Far East, Central America. Games are pretty biased toward Europe, North America, and the Middle East. There is a very big world out there.

You know a game comes out too often when we’re getting BYOB (Build-your-own-bundle) deals! And this cheap? Good deal for parkour lovers! Haha!!

GoodGuy091393d ago

What Ill be doing for valhalla, wait for a sale. Ac and far cry games go really cheap pretty quick. Picked up fc5 for $5 and Odyssey for $10.

EastOfTheAnduin1393d ago

I always wait for Black Friday for Assassin's Creed.

Baza1393d ago

Sounds like a PC gamer deal.. *clicks on link* yup

Inverno1393d ago

Or just wait til Ubisoft gives em out for free lol. they've practically given out all the AC games for free, as well as both Watch Dog games, and Rayman. Ubisoft is weird
