Overall Rio is a really fun collection of mini-games that can be enjoyed by the whole family. The game is definitely going to be most popular with younger children and is also the perfect game for them to play with parents. All of the games are easy to learn and winning can be a mix of luck as well as skill. Players who have seen the film will likely get the most enjoyment from the game. If you're after a new game to play as a family then this is well worth a look.

Birds of a feather party together
Rio from the makers of Ice Age is a movie tie-in party game from the same name which includes over forty mini-games using six playable characters, Blu, Jewel, Pedro, Nico, Raphael, and Eva in a brightly coloured action packed Carnival theme. Although also on PlayStation 3 and Wii, the Xbox 360 version has three additional exclusive mini-games.
Given the game’s reliance on competition, it’s a great shame that Rio doesn’t include any online gameplay. Though it offers drop-in gameplay for up to four players on a single system, the only use of the PlayStation Network Rio makes is that of the now essential Trophies.
