This week saw Capcom’s Captivate 2011 event kick off in Miama, but all of the information that is currently being released has been embargoed until next Tuesday. That’s quite unfortunate but it isn’t stopping us from speculating about what Resident Evil-related news we’ll be getting once the embargo lifts early next week. Let’s get this out of the way first: we’re not expecting any new game announcements and you shouldn’t as well. We already got a good amount of Resident Evil titles hitting from this summer up until 2012 all in celebration of Resident Evil’s 15th anniversary. So let’s get started with our list of what we think Captivate 2011 will be giving Resident Evil fans.
By the looks of it, PlayStation 5 exclusivity does not hurt the sales of Stellar Blade in Japan as the game has passed 90,000 sold physical copies.
Stellar Blade really deserves way more praise than it got, devs have been adding more and more content, for free, since release and the game already was great to begin with!
Stellar blade is performing very impressively there, DD2 didn't do well because word of mouth destroyed it's reputation and not about the Microtransactions or performance, bad word of mouth about how the game lacks so many things that were in the first one
Exclusives matter. No matter what bumbling phil and bond try to say, exclusives is why you buy a console.
They dropped the ball with dogma. SB is a solid game, it just had to weather the social storm.
Many details for the upcoming rumored Resident Evil 1 remake have already leaked online. Capcom appears to have huge ambitions for it.
While I want another modern remake of 1, I think code Veronica should be first. The first re1 remake holds up amazingly well. Give CV it's due.
Capcom Co., Ltd. today announced that in its consolidated earnings for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2024, net sales were 152,410 million yen (up 21.0% year-over-year), operating income was 57,081 million yen (up 12.3% year-over-year), ordinary income was 59,422 million yen (up 15.7 % year-over-year), and net income attributable to owners of the parent was 43,374 million yen (up 18.1 % year-over-year).
Hey Capcom I want a remake of Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2 on Switch or, maybe Switch 2. I loved both of those games on GameCube.
Good. capcom and square enix were my two favourite developers and now it's just CapCom! Square enix keeps missing the mark, their sparks gone.
I understand this is a RE question but I hope they also announce Monster Hunter 3DS and Layton vs Ace Attorney announced for worldwide release pleeeeeeeaze.. ...hopefully. :)
Just story with action
another year of sadness without leon.
