do these dlc open up the world and let you play past then ending? kinda like a broken steel type dlc?

Blacktric4797d ago

Nothing else but their names confirmed so far via trademark filings by Bethesda. Honest Hearts will probably focus on the story of Joshua Graham, aka The Burned Man. Who was the Legate of Caesar's army during the first war of Hoover Dam and he held responsible for the crushing defeat of the Legion and right after the war, he covered in pitch, set on fire and thrown into the Hoover Dam as a punishment by Caesar.

No, the deva have stated that there will be nothing like Broken steel, because the changes at the end would be too drastic to show.

outwar60104797d ago

they said the exact same thing about f3 and then ....... they charged for an update that allows you to play beyond the end with a level cap increase

Well to be fair Fallout 3 only really had two possible outcomes. New Vegas has five possible outcomes and they all pretty much end in mass destruction to the area. I can kinda see their point on this one.

Scotty0564796d ago

It'd be too hard to align everything to the changes, IMO. Dont get me ring, I'd love to see a continuation.

@outwar6010
i hope their is a DLC pack that continues the story which takes place in a small area of California (similar to Point Lookout)

but one thing I'm pretty disappointing in is that fallout 3/NV has not had an actual expansion pack like oblivion and morrowind

thorstein4797d ago

Does it come with a patch so I can start playing the game?

dragon824796d ago

How are you having trouble?? I played and platinumed New Vegas in the first two weeks it was out.

thorstein4796d ago

I wasn't aware of a newer patch than 1.01....

dragon824796d ago

It was more than playable on day one. Like I said, I played it and platinumed it in the first two weeks it was out.

Games That Were Bad on Release, But Are Now Great

BLG writes, "Some of the most popular games have had a rough start, with some of them being downright unplayable.

Despite that, developers have managed to turn it around for them and make their game worth playing. Here are some games that had a rough start but were pretty great."

Good list..hoped to see Street Fighter 5 there..and it is.

Sea of Thieves... I'm not disagreeing that the game has improved in terms of content. But I feel that the most significant change between now and its release is actually the public perception. Nowadays, most people are aware that the game is a multiplayer PvP-focused experience first and foremost, and not "Black Flag made by Rare". Consequently, people dismissing the whole experience because the single-player aspect is lacking or the story is plain are much less common.

Several years ago, i submitted an idea to Rare that would change up the mechanics of battling opponents in the game. whereby if you died in battle, you turned into a skeleton warrior and had to fight your way back to the land of the living. It was an interesting twist on respawning and would allow the player to experience both sides of a battle.

I keep hoping to see something like that get added to the game.

They consider FO 76 & ME Andromeda to be great now 🤭

Every game in the last 2 decades...

INMATEofARKHAM9d ago

It's sad that this quick retort is more often than not true... The industry's acceptance of release and patch has gone too far.

gunnerforlife9d ago

Days gone! By the end of the game I couldn't drop it down! I went around so many hours killing zombies! It was addictive by the end.

S2Killinit8d ago

That game was just plain good game. It didnt improve, it was just good.

gunnerforlife8d ago

I don't know, I got it abit late, and struggled for a few days, and then all of a sudden it just got good!!

Fallout Anthology Edition Looks Pretty S.P.E.C.I.A.L.

The Fallout Anthology Edition is coming to PC very soon, and is packaged with some very S.P.E.C.I.A.L. bonuses.

They included physical disc back then
