I am a Xbox360 owner and even if it came to the xbox I couldnt careless of the game being on 10 disc or not.

Yeah it really annoyed me when ff13 got pushed back stateside because of the X360 port. If I knew then what I know now I wouldn't have sweated it though, since ff13 was pretty mediocre.

sadly I agree, I enjoyed the game but not nearly as much as some of the previous FF titles and now with XIII-2 I don't know what to think. A sequel no one wanted.

doubt it.Its been designed with PS3 specs in mind FF13 was designed with PS2 specs before you mention that.The guy in charge asked squareenix's head if it really was exclusive.So he could push things as far as possible.Since the answer was yes, that means he can use both the BD space and the cell to its fullest.It will be another not possible game for the 360.Now a PC version might thats certainly possible.

At one point, they said that FFXIII was designed specifically for the PS3 and would use all its power. Designers often say this to hype their game, until the publisher decides they want to make it for another console.

In any case I wouldn't buy it, FF is a tired franchise that hasn't really impressed since the days of the PS1.

I have to agree, nothing is exclusive with third party titles this generation. It could simply happen a year after like FFXIII in Japan, but this time worldwide. Sure it was designed with PS3 in mind, but that doesn't mean it can't be ported at all. Anything is possible and Microsoft is always willing to hand out cash bags for such things. With the way Square has owned their fans up the ass I would not be surprised at all.

I am amazed you all have not learned your lesson. Just about every listing "mistake" has come true, I say just about because I am sure MGS 4 was listed for X360 at one point, but usually, when a listing mistake is made then it's probably going to show up.

I am not saying it will happen here, but be prepared.

wheres mgs4 on 360 then lol, it never happened, people forget ffvs is meant to be open world, it has hi-def textures and graphics and dynamic weather and enemies bleed blood when attacking them, it has vehicles as well, this game will not be able to fit on 360, one because of disc limitations and two beause i honestly dont think 360 has the power to do ffvs it struggled with ff13 on pulse at sub 720p at 20fps not very good... especially when ff13 did not have super detailed graphics as ffvs and no dynamic weather, even the character models look more detailed on ffvs

ff13 in sub hd and 3 disc without towns or open world was complained of on the 360 version. u want a sub hd 8 disc version now? wtf? just buy a ps3 already and stop complaining and wishing otherwise u will find that ur hopes are just that hopes, just like mgs4

On-topic: Personally I was actually hoping it'd stay an exclusive, for the pure fact that Nomura has been saying all along that it is being developed specifically for the PS3 and is being designed to show what it can do, etc. If he and SE have been lying to us for 6+ years honestly they can go screw themselves. I don't care about it being multiplatform, the more the merrier I say, but there's no way that after 6 years of development SE have only NOW decided to say "let's go multiplat with this" so why couldn't they have just said it when they decided. I can see why everyone hates SE so much these days.

If Lost Odysses doesn't make it to PS3 I am glad FF vs XIII won't make the other way around. A little fairness never hurts and I really want to enjoy the pure BluRay quality optimized for PS3. It is the last chance I grant to Square Enix including the fact that it is and stays exclusive... Wouldn't pay out for them to put it on 8 Discs anyway.
