When a game as big as Grand Theft Auto IV gets delayed to '08, you'd expect the holiday season to look slimmer. That is not the case this year. In fact, the loss of GTA IV just means a dozen AAA games are coming instead of a baker's dozen. This glorious wealth of promising titles means gamers have a lot of options from now until the end of the year. But once you've picked up Halo 3, what else is worth spending your money on? IGN picked 20 games coming this fall worth checking out.
MW 2019 is five years old at this point and on previous gen hardware, but it is still the best looking Call of Duty game to date.
MW was an excellent videogame. They messed up Spec Ops big time, but aside from this it was a huge step in the right direction initially. Most notably, at launch it seemed to come from a very cohesive creative vision that was felt across gameplay, to story to art style/visual direction. It was also very notably written by prominent ex-Naughty Dog guys that quit almost immediately before release.
That COMPLETELY dissolved through post-launch content and the full pivot to a "cross-mode" narrative that completely obliterated the cohesion in overall story direction. Warzone then "became" the new face of Call of Duty and the franchise completely removed itself from anything remotely creatively "good". It is a pure money machine, so I kinda get why they're doing it....but I personally completely lost interest.
I would love to see Infinity Ward move off CoD and get to make their own product with full control. They clearly have some massive talent in their ranks but it's perverted by Activision's corporate interests.
We've gone on many adventures with Lara Croft. With another reboot in the making, Wealth of Geeks felt it was a good time to go down the nostalgia rabbit hole and remember the best of those tomb-raiding thrills.
For me, Legend should be alot higher (along with the other two ). Shadow, I enjoyed it, but has too much has fluff, as modern games tend to do. Playing the remastered series, and apart from the controls, is very good.
I really enjoyed the first 2 games, Legend and the first of the reboots and the rest I didn’t get into so I never finished.
Completely subjective list. I really liked Underworld, I preferred Lara's design. That said I loved the horror/uncharted feel of the reboot. I think all the TR games have strengths and weaknesses. None are objectively better in every way.
Cultured Vultures: While the number one entry might be a foregone conclusion for some, let’s see if we can surprise you with our look at every Simpsons game ranked from worst to best.

there's really not that much after Halo 3
Killer lineup...and they left out Jericho, Beautiful Katamari, and a solid array of B-grade titles, sequels, and sports games.
MS has the games...can they capitalize on this bounty?
