Yup. your right spdarksky! Attitude Era was friggin awesome! stone cold vs. the rock? triple HHH? Scotty 2Hottie? OHHH, when Kane actually had his mask. And to top it all off....Rakeshi.

So yeah. I used to be a big WWF fan. But now its a really lame. WWE sucks. Its so watered down, that 11 year-old kids can go watch it!!! There is "definetly" something wrong with that...

Since the competition left WWE gave up on trying to better their product. After Benoit died everything was shifted to someone else to run the company or something. WWE freaked out I guess for having its own death scene a week before. They cut everything down after that slowly into all PG crap. I don't see how anyone enjoys it. Some parts are okay, but there is no hype, no fun, no great moments, nothing exciting. Women's wrestling in WWE lasts no more than 2 minutes if its a one on one or tag match. No more than 3 minutes if its a battle royal or 6/8 person tag match.

I have hopes that TNA can revive competition and kill the PG gay era WWE has going for it now. Some new stars I don't mind. There are no characters, no personalities, no freedoms, no snappy comebacks, no enjoyment from WWE wrestling anymore. TNA has new stars, excitement, changes, and they do monitor a bit of what fans what from the show. They listen and tweak little things, but still some things need some real shifts.

TNA did well to come out with a new Wrestling game, but sadly they picked the wrong developer. Midway died shortly after releasing the game. Southpeak acquired rights to publishing or developing TNA games I believe, but I am not certain if any solid game details were picked up for a 2nd TNA game for main platforms. I hope something is coming. The only way SVR will ever get any better is when the competition finally can keep up with it.

Well there is another option, but its a little odd ball for most game developers. Its called taking time to actually build the game. SVR games come out yearly. So slapping same old crap into the same old game engine is just a natural process for them. They only have like 9 months to put it all together. What they really need is like 18 months or more. I say make the games come out every 2-3 years. Game base gets a more solid fanbase for each game(Each game would sell more as it has a longer shelf life), game changes can be much broader, Lots of room for DLC so its not out every month.

I am happy to see AAA Lucha wrestling game come out. I actually am interesting in playing it. At least its a change and maybe if profitable it can shift into being a solid game IP that is refreshed every so often or yearly like other games.

I liked 2 vs 2 vs 2 hardcore match better. Going to times square was sooooo mutch fun. Last year I went to gamestop to buy HCTP again.

I like the level of customization and crap like that, but most definately when it comes to actually playing the game, it seems I could just stand still while the AI beats the crap out of itself.

And god forbid you try to do a match online.

The WWE is filled with very good actors. There is only so much you can do with a game based on acting. Try playing a game about real fighting, sheesh.

its a damn shame Here Comes The Pain was the last good Wrestling game. amd that was released in 2003. Its even worst THq is still using the PS2 engine for today's games.

A game based on fake story lines and even faker fighting.You have Fight night,and MMA games coming out.Only way it could really come back is if they upgrade the graphics a lot and the physics.
