Videogamer: The Sly Trilogy Review

Videogamer: "Sony's attempts to include PS2 compatibility with the PS3 might have been an unmitigated disaster, but at least the company knows how to knock out a fine last-gen compilation disc. First it struck gold with 720p updates of God of War I and II, and now the company is breathing new life into another classic with The Sly Collection. When it comes to jazzing up former glories, it's clear Sony is leagues ahead of SEGA and Nintendo."

Borderlands is great on my vita, the cart is well and truly glued in there. Super Meat Boy, Terraria, Binding of Issac and Guacameelee are highly recommended

If you look around, you can easily find this for less than $5. I bought it last year for $2.50. Well worth it.

Randostar2951d ago

Trilogies are also pretty common in gaming as well, but at the same token, an actual good trilogy is a completely different matter. This new article series details some of the very best trilogies that our hobby and industry have been able to create in its much shorter lifespan. This second edition (the first was seen last week) deals with more recent trilogies both official and unofficial."

My personal favourite is the Uncharted series, suprised that Mass Effect and Gears of War didnt get a mention in this article.

Phil323205d ago

No worries. They're coming in a future edition!

wonderfulmonkeyman3205d ago

It's sad to think that both Metal Arms: Glitch in the System and Banjo-Kazooie could have joined this list, but now they'll never get the chance...

Phil323205d ago

Yeah, Banjo-Kazooie is one of my favorite platformers of all time. I own Metal Arms and still need to play that. I know I went out of my way to pick it up.

PygmelionHunter3205d ago

Metroid Prime. It's not even a question.
