Honestly, You'd think the 360 would get a sexy rather than semi-comical cover.

Malicious4902d ago

It's not like the 360 version will sell anyways.

rdgneoz34902d ago

Throw in FPS segments and have characters say COD / Halo and it will.

yourfather4902d ago (Edited 4902d ago )

no it will
because some japanese gamer will buy 360 version just for Different Packages(even they don't have 360)
that just happened on BBCT

edit:you guys don't know how BBCT 360 version sold in Japan?
PS3:around 60000,360:around 40000
because Different Packages

Red_Orange_Juice4902d ago

well, is it going to be released in EU/US

xXxSeTTriPxXx4902d ago

i was thinking the same thing.whats the point of releasing it on the 360, when no one will buy it?....

not hating on the 360 but tales of vespiria was released for the 360 and it didn't sell.and as a result tales of grace f isn't going to be localized.

360 user (most of them) hate jrpg (hell mass effect doesn't sell great on the 360 and it has guns)why can't they see this and move on?..

yourfather4902d ago

TOV 360 sold 220000 in Japan

visualb4902d ago (Edited 4902d ago )

yourfather has a point

japanese people love collecting

thats why a big marketing ploy in japan that works better than in any other country is make a product "collectible" by releasing many different versions of the same product and/or limited editions of alternate versions

by doing this, they will ensure that the collectors (many in japan) that get the PS3 version and enjoy the game will get the 360 version merely due to "collecting everything related to the game they love"

its a smart way of pushing a product without much chance of selling by it self.

PS3 cover far better though xP

Redempteur4902d ago

@yourfather

TOV never did that much in japan on 360 ..

NOw the PS3 release that is possible

Godmars2904902d ago

Weren't most of those burnt in the streets - literally - after the PS3 version was announced?

...

The game is up for pre order already.

@TheBand1t
Play Persona, it's a similar game style.

George Sears4902d ago (Edited 4902d ago )

You mean artistic? Because gameplay wise no it is not similar at all.

QuantumSponge4902d ago

"Throw in FPS segments and have characters say COD / Halo and it will."

More like "throw in some gameplay and it might".

Sigh4902d ago

Lol... at that ram-man dude whatever. Wtf

TheBand1t4902d ago

What is this game about exactly? Is it an RPG or what?

NnT32914902d ago (Edited 4902d ago )

It's like a graphic novel game I think

Ponurasky4902d ago

it's a adventure game with a bit of action in nightmare world (were you have to climb up the tower and avoid monsters)

"Catherine Is An Action-Puzzle Meets Adventure Game."

"If I (Katsura Hashino, Producer & Director) had to say, this title is made with a cinematic (?) fusion of adventure and action-puzzle," Hashino wrote.

Hashino said he thinks people that aren’t skilled at action games should be able to enjoy Catherine too.

The adventure part isn’t the kind of game where you go from location to location while solving a mystery and shooting monsters to death.

Hashino explained Catherine moves like a movie with everyday adventure scenes.

At night, the bar with middle-aged protagonists and Vincent’s nightmare scenes.

Hashino hints that Catherine’s gameplay may be linear.

He says the game doesn’t offer the same degree of freedom as other games on the market.

Hashino hopes people looking for a game that feels a little bit different will check Catherine out, which in his opinion has a unique good feeling.
