"There is no doubt in my mind that RE5 has done more damage to the series than any previous release. Not even the failed GameCube deal (in which Capcom initially planned to make every Resident Evil sequel, prequel and remake exclusively for GameCube) hurt the series as much. Going forward, Capcom is going to have a hard time convincing gamers to return."
Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 4 remake sales are now at over 7 million units, Street Fighter 6 is at 3.3 million and more.
If you're looking for 'must have' PSVR 2 games then look no further. These are the 10 titles every PSVR 2 owner should have in their library.
If you're wanting more PSVR 2 support, you should probably buy all of these games.
Speak with your wallet!
I'm trying to decide if it's worth holding onto my psvr 2. I enjoy what it has currently, but it seems unlikely to get anything else. Might be better off just waiting for something with more support if that ever comes.
GT7 surprised me, because I hate racing games, but i poured 100 hours into it way too quickly.
I’m looking forward to the Metro VR game this year, and I hope that WW2 dogfighter game releases eventually.
I have most of them 😅
Waiting for a sale on Synapse and Arizona Sunshine 2.....also Metro coming this year looks great.
Capcom Co., Ltd. (Capcom) today announced that the multiplatform title Resident Evil 4 has sold over 7 million units worldwide approximately one year after its release.
dont try to fix what isnt broken
Agreed. No reason why they should bastardize Resident Evil. RE5 is still fresh in people's minds, and it hasn't been shelved for a while like Devil May Cry has.
I really did, but I can see why people don't like it; it just doesn't have the feel of a Resident Evil. Sure, it has the biological monsters and mutants and Wesker and Chris Redfield and a few more whose mention would be spoiling the game, but there's something missing.
I wonder if people would like Resident Evil 5 if it was a spinoff or something else completely, rather than a primary installment.
You made a lot of good suggestions, but if they did decide to go to any of your routes, I think it would totally change RE making it not RE anymore. Resident Evil 5 was a different spin on the series and had awesome graphics, but I think that's what the series needed. RE4 was a change of pace also and I think Capcom has become a pro on adding changes slowly and at the right time. I trust them and do not they have done the RE story any hamr. Change can be a good thing, but not drastic or unecessary changes. =)
It's usually easier to be scared when your alone. It's a harder to make a game scary when it's multiplayer, and it might simply not make sense to do it.
