Polish developer Vivid Games has announced that the much-loved retro title will be available on iPhone, iPad, PSP minis, bada, and Android.
AR: It’s almost appropriate that Speedball 2 Evolution has finally been released on Android, given that this futuristic bloodsport contains plenty of robotic players. A modern enhanced version of the classic Bitmap Brothers game, this takes the guts of soccer, ups the scoring, adds in bumpers and bonuses like pinball, along with the kind of extreme violence of football. Players can be killed outright. The only rule of Speedball 2 Evolution is that there are no rules, besides the ones that govern scoring! YEEEEEEEAHHHHH.
Having originally confirmed the multi-format mobile release of Speedball 2 Evolution back in 2010, Tower Studios and Vivid Games have announced that the much anticipated Android version of the classic futuristic sports videogame is now available on Google Play for mobiles and tablets. Speedball 2 Evolution brings its unique fusion of sports, humour and brutal combat to millions of Android gamers after having enjoyed huge success on iOS.
