Set for release later this month, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole - The Videogame is an Action-Flight game set in an epic fantasy world based on the bestselling book series by author Kathryn Lasky, with an action-packed storyline that parallels the plot of the upcoming 3D fantasy family adventure film Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole.
Console Monster: "On receiving the movie tie-in of the visually stupendous avian adventure, Legend of the Guardians, I set out with a degree of trepidation and conflicting expectations, into the skies. I'd been captivated by the movie trailers, would the game be able to attain the same talon grasp over my attentions? On first impressions, I'm afraid, sadly not."

The movie is directed by Zack Snyder, so in hopes to promote the movie and create additional sales they decided to release an adventure game across all platforms (excluding PSP) that could display the adventurous nature of the books and the movie to gamers. We decide to see if this title takes flight or does it need its wings clipped."
Cliff writes, "Like its console counterparts, the licensed game based on Legend of the Guardians for the Nintendo DS shows signs of potential. It’s too bad that this handheld version is too dull to play; there are glaring flaws that impact nearly every aspect of the game, and an overall lack of inspiration that makes me question the purpose of this handheld port."
