How To Fix Modern Warfare 2/3

Modern Warfare 2 was a great game when it launched and I thought I would play it as much as Call of Duty 4. But within weeks of the games launch, areas of the game have been exposed making the game very annoying and very unbalanced. At this time I feel that the game can no longer be fixed and improvements need to be made on the next instalment instead of patching the existing game. Below are my personal opinions about what needs to be changed in the next game to make it a better experience.

MW2 online was great when it first came out because everyone did not really know the game that well but then came the peeps who came up with marathon lightweight and commando with tac knife. That is when things started to go out of hand.

The game needs these 3 things taken out.

Commando
Danger close(no more explosive enhancers)
death streaks

You forgot to add:
1. Less power for the shotguns
2. No auto-shotguns
3. No noob-toobs
4. No one many army ammo refresh BS
5. Better sniping accuracy
6. No killed by direct impact BS

They would need to develop:
1. A way to detect boosters and hackers
2. Better spawn points (allowing picking like Halo Reach)

Auto shotguns exist so why should they not exist in a military game?

Grenade launchers in MW2 are weak unless you put on a explosive enhancer.

Shotguns are supposed to be powerful at short range which in Mw2 they are powerful at short range but since the maps are small you are always short range. All they need to do is make maps bigger.

Sniping is already very accurate. Are you talking about more realistic accuracy or perfect accuracy like dead on instant shots?

Killed by direct impact death is possible but most likely wont happen in real life. Most of the time no one gets a direct impact kill unless in hardcore or on last stand.

Hackers are way to smart. They will find a way to get undetected.

Boosters are annoying especially in team based gamemodes but they are not breaking the terms of service. They should include a booting system(not like the one in reach). It works by if half the players on the team vote to boot the person is kicked.

In halo reach you are only allowed to pick in invasion and big team slayer not all game modes. A game like COD will have to always have 2 changing spawn points to choose from because COD people are always running around and stuff.

Noob tubes are only evil in Hardcore (the only modes I play in which Noob tubing = fail, I hate people who use them). I agree where FMJ kills shouldn't be to damn hard

MW was an excellent videogame. They messed up Spec Ops big time, but aside from this it was a huge step in the right direction initially. Most notably, at launch it seemed to come from a very cohesive creative vision that was felt across gameplay, to story to art style/visual direction. It was also very notably written by prominent ex-Naughty Dog guys that quit almost immediately before release.

That COMPLETELY dissolved through post-launch content and the full pivot to a "cross-mode" narrative that completely obliterated the cohesion in overall story direction. Warzone then "became" the new face of Call of Duty and the franchise completely removed itself from anything remotely creatively "good". It is a pure money machine, so I kinda get why they're doing it....but I personally completely lost interest.

I would love to see Infinity Ward move off CoD and get to make their own product with full control. They clearly have some massive talent in their ranks but it's perverted by Activision's corporate interests.

Call of Duty Players Disappointed by $80 B.E.A.S.T. Glove Bundle Deal

Recently, players of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone were met with a new bundle featuring the B.E.A.S.T. Glove, inspired by King Kong's armament in the Godzilla x Kong movie. However, the $80 price tag attached to this themed accessory left many Call of Duty fans feeling underwhelmed.

Controversy in the COD community feels like it happens within an alternate timeline. Activision will take the piss with something, there will be a momentary fuss about it, and then they will forget about it and carry on anyway. Repeat this cycle literally every year for the rest of time.

They call that a crack head! Thats what this is really about, its an addiction. People who dont smoke cigarettes look and laugh at the addicts that spend $8-$10 a pack, but they cant help themselves, they are addicted. That same analogy applies perfectly to the whole MT industry. Only an addict that was not thinking clearly would spend this kind of money on something so frivolous. A round of multiplayer provides the same high a person gets from scratching a lotto ticket, or putting money on a sports bet. MT in general need to really be regulated because you have a generation of kids becoming adults who grew up only knowing the MT era of gaming. Its normal to them and they will in turn teach their kids the same by just being a gaming parent and getting their kids involved with them in gaming. Thats why no matter how ridiculous the headlines keep getting out of the MT industry, it never seems to fade or go away.

I'm so tired of hearing about what they're doing with this game, its never going to change and it's never going to value the consumer over money, furthermore the people who engage so heavily in the microtransactions I guess allegedly are having a blast and can't wait to do it some more this year when the new version of the game drops.
