First Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions Review Is Live

The first review for Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions has gone live on Lazygamer.net:

Your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man returns for another video game adventure, only this time things are slightly different.

The developers at Beenox have set out to mix things up a little with this new take on Spider-Man, allowing you to play as not one, but four versions of Spider-Man from alternate realities that come with their own unique styles and skills.

Does four times the Spider-Man mean four times the fun?

Yeah originally it said 8.3/100 but it was fixed, by that time I couldn't eidt my comment so now disagrees are appearing, sense of humour on N4G seems to be low.

Arkham Asylum didn't set the standard for Super Hero games. It set a new high, so don't expect other superhero games to be as good.

8.3 though, is surprisingly good.

I beg your pardon, we have been a solid gaming site for over 3 years and are now the biggest gaming website in Africa. Granted we are not at the same level as the European and American sites due to our smaller base but your insinuation is more than a little insulting.

The copy was delivered by the local distributors of Activision products

The companies have an intern or similar who's job it is to keep track of all the content on the sites that they send review content to. Easily done by someone's in-house built screen scraper application and RSS feeds.

No in this case the local distributor sent the link of the review to Activision (as they usually do when reviews are posted) and were met with a big surprise when Acti replied

Until I try it I dont care what any score is. The two great SM games have been SM2 and SM3, SM1 was glitchy n hard, Ultimate SM had boring races (If I want to play a racing game I'll grow a mullet, buy a budwieser coozie, and play racing games) plus Ultimate SM didn't have the best fighting.....SM FOF was too easy and lethargic, SM WOS was a bore too (was just alot of air mashing).
