Final Fantasy XV Development Time 'Hopefully' Shorter

Well they said reason why there was no towns and exploring in ff13 was because it takes to long to do.. Guess this confirms same for ff 15..

Considering Crystal Tools is fully developed now, I'd expect a shorter development time.

Plus FFXV wouldn't be caught in a console transition like XIII was.

This is assuming they even do XV this gen. They said they wanted XIII to kinda of be a franchise and we are still waiting on Versus and Agito and there is nothing that says they won't make another XIII game this gen and just save XV until next gen.

Assuming that did happen Crystal Tools would probably not even be used unless they designed it to scale to the tech being used on the next gen consoles. Which is possible but I don't recall them saying it was made for that.

Well considering standalone games, Versus is practically 15, but yeah. Hopefully the build up from 13 will make Versus and FF15 all the better.

I can't even imagne what Final Fantasy XV will be like, like whether it'll be middle ages type(XII), mordern world type(VII) or the furture(XIII). It'll be kinda of cool if the game's story was as dark and edgy as Dark Knight or Inception.

It would be REALLY cool to see something maybe shifting between time periods. Square Enix could introduce time traveling or allowing us to travel through various dimensions. I could imagine going through New York or maybe even England through the year 3000 or something like that, lol. Or maybe a New York inhabited by monsters....idk. I just hope Square Enix has enough of an imagination to keep it from being stale like Final Fantasy XIII

I have played every single FF game to date and I actually really like FF13. It might not be the best FF game but it is far from the worst.

I've played all FF as well (including 11) and 13 was a big disappointment especially how linear it was and how slow the story progression is. I was so upset over 13 I traded it for Borderlands and haven't looked back since.

A lot of people kept going on about "20 hours into the game is when it gets good..." well what happen to first 10 min of a game getting good?

If v13 does go multi 14 is the final SE game I'm buying - be the 3rd company I refuse to buy any games from.

Every Square Enix article has a bunch of whiners complaining about the how "crappy" Square Enix is . My advice to these people is you don't have to buy their games. I still love their games and look forward to each one. Keep up the good work SE.
