Great Value indeed, but I prefer the new slim version. WIFI, HDMI, Quieter, smaller and black finish makes it worth all 300$. Beside I already own FF13 on PS3 :D. I am waiting the price cut on the XBOX to own all three great consoles.

darkstar5047d ago

The slim comes with a bigger hard drive? This bundle and the slim both come with a 250 gig hdd if I remember.

Vlaitor5047d ago

My bad, I thought it was a 320gb. Nvm then :P

xavier-tooth5048d ago

bigtime rip-off! 360 is like 149$.

jahcure5048d ago

wasn't this thing supposed to be a limited edition? How on earth is it still available. Did it not sell well? I think all the ps3 limited edition ff13 bundles are sold off..correct me if i'm wrong

xavier-tooth5048d ago

yes it is. i think there are still hundreds of thousands left. shows that even with millions of dollars of advertising and seemingly advertised as exclusive in the US and Europe, FF13 360 version flopped.

Newtype5047d ago

if you want to compare it to past ffs, it flopped on the ps3 as well.

Christopher5047d ago

Damn, when did 1.5m sold become a sign of a flop?

Count5047d ago

When stupid trolls like this guy stopped getting a clue.

Ever since Heavenly Sword released.

I hope i'm not contributing to the fanboy hate, but it is a limited edition... it just didn't sell that well! It probably would have sold better if the console had some design, but it was basically a regular console. Who the hell is going to pay extra for that?

Newtype5047d ago

whos gonna want to buy that crap? the halo bundle is gonna be the focus, they should slash this crap to 199.99. ff xiii wasn't worth the price at 59.99 as it is.

No. But MGS5: Ground Zeroes might actually be one of the greatest Game Demo ever, if not the best.

I'd love a remaster of both games with 4K, raytracing, and the ability to have both AA and AO at the same time.

Petebloodyonion17h ago

Remasters were made for Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2009 Chronicles of Riddick Assault on Dark Athena

porkChop8h ago

It was a remaster of the first game, plus a sequel. The sequel was never remastered though. In the PC version you couldn't even have AA and AO, you had to choose one or the other. You can't buy it anymore either on PC.

MS owns the developer, if only they wanted to bother with the license, could be a nice addition to Series X BC program. These titles and Arx Fatalis.

Petebloodyonion17h ago

Microsoft does not own Starbreeze Studios; it is owned by Digital Bros through its subsidiary, 505 Games.
Tigon Studios, founded by Vin Diesel, primarily develops games featuring him and holds licenses related to these games.

ZwVw13h ago

You're thinking about MachineGames (Wolfenstein) which was formed by several ex Starbreeze staff after Assault on Dark Athena was released (whose owned by Zenimax/Bethesda), now owned by MS.

Great games, wish they would make another.
