Namco Bandai “evaluating the possibility” of bringing Tales west

Scrawl: "After a flood of probably over two-thousand wall posts on Namco Games’ official Facebook page, the company has finally responded to fans’ pleas. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the answer fans were hoping for. Rather than an confirmation of the series' western arrival, Namco Bandai’s instead issued the following."

they should bring this series out in the western markets for all the jrpg fans....

Whats there to evaluate Namco Bandai?
I mean we already have a petition for tales of games for the west.

Fans already did a major comment assault on your facebook page resulting with over two thousand wall posts.

There's clearly a demand for Tales of Games, So I don't see whats the hold up at all especially with Vesperia, The game is mostly been localized from the Xbox360 version. If you don't want to bring it over to the west, at least offer it to other publishers like Xseed or Nisa, who already expressed that would be happy to localize the games if given the chance.

Bring "Tales of" Games to West, Namco Bandai, that's all your fans ask of you.

yes because 2000 people is going to offset the balance it costs to bring the game to america

Da One5019d ago

Niche JRPG's sell more than 2,000 copies especially the ones localized by Atlus, NISA, and XSEED.

Tales has a nice fanbase stateside, Namco only bring over correctly for profit.

Army_of_Darkness5019d ago

for my PS3!..... hahaha! that rhymed;)

nickjkl5018d ago (Edited 5018d ago )

oh wow you guys dont know anything about buisness

if you spend the money to translate it copy it localize it and that cost is not off set by the number of people buying the game then its useless to even begin the process in the first place

just look at the sales tales on average sells .80 million copys in japan compared to other jrpgs which sell at least 2 million in japan
now each time a jrpg is released in america it sells less than it does in japan

basically
.80 million avearge of tales copys sold in japan
americans always buys less copys of jrpgs
meaning less than .80million in sells

its basically a gamble since i dont really know how much it costs to bring a rpg from japan to amerca

Namco Bandai has been pissing me off a lot lately.

No Ace Combat and Vesperia for my PS3?

No good Gundam games? Only Dynasty Warriors Gundam? Never going to localize them?

...WELL FUCK YOU TO NAMCO.

kingnick5019d ago (Edited 5019d ago )

Namco have decided to put their interests (regional timed/permanent exclusives for money) ahead of their fans wants so I will respond in kind by making sure Tales of Vesperia (x360) is the last Namco game I buy.

Graphics aside ToV wasn't better than ToS in any other area.

Most of their franchises are stagnating or getting worse so it isn't a hard decision to boycott them.

ClownBelt5019d ago

Well if they don't want to spend a single cent on releasing it on the West then let other publisher do the work? Quit with the BS and excuses Namco.

Tales PS3 needs to come west!

Tales Of Graces Ƒ Retro Review – Holding Out For a Hero

Gary Green said: Namco Bandai heard the call of many fans asking for the PlayStation release of Tales of Graces which was originally released seemingly exclusively for the Wii back in 2009. If you’re acquainted with the Tales series then Graces f won’t be something entirely new to you, yet if you’re a newcomer then you’ll find a plethora of gameplay mechanics and nuances that distinguish this series from other JRPGs. While the game finds itself following the traditional archetype of JRPGs, such as a somewhat clichéd story, Graces has something to offer to both veterans and newcomers alike.

"Let Me Solo Her" Receives A Special Award From Namco Bandai For His 1000th Victory Against Malenia

Immersed Gamer writes: "Let Me Solo Her is a legendary Elden Ring player who mastered one of the most infamous bosses to help his fellow tarnished via co-op. And for his service, he received an award from Namco Bandai to commemorate his 1,000th victory. The reward in question is a real, and extremely dope, custom-made sword.

Malenia is regarded as the hardest boss in Elden Ring, and the relentless Tarnished has defended literally thousands of hosts against this malice. Let Me Solo Her apparently passed 2,000 Malenia kills a while back, but it’s hard to measure the exact count he is at now. Bandai Namco sent the gift his way when he was at around 1,000 kills. But due to the nature of the object, it got stuck in customs for a while!"

Are you Okay??? The thumb is from Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

At least it's the right franchise

TTT is one of my all time favorite games, but I always found its soundtrack to be terrible. I'd mute the music and put my own on.
