I love KI (still play the old arcade version) but feel like the Xbox version is like a big intimidating chessboard with no easy way to instruct you to play chess.
The game is so deep in terms of little things to do that it makes Smash Bros melee look like a casual experience.
Honestly, doing a combo Breaker is punish/reward by itself but hey you can add a counterbreaker.

Iron Galaxy is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Killer Instinct by launching a new Anniversary Edition for Xbox and PC and an extensive patch several years after the latest update.
There isn't going to be any chance of this being played at tournaments unless it appears on all platforms like all fighting games.
SF5 didn’t appear on all consoles and was still played at Tournaments. I’ve seen KI tournaments recently so I don’t think your opinion is accurate.
A free-to-play fighting game? This was unheard of at the time, but Killer Instinct has proven it's not only doable, but enjoyable!

I think it would be great if Rare was to make a new Killer Instinct. I think it would be great if KI3 could be 2D. I hope MS will give Rare the opportunity to make KI3. Because I know if they did KI3 would be a hit.
Rare... just make an HD remake of the original KI and drop it on XBLA. Done. That doesn't even require any creativity on your part just a little bit of elbow grease. MS, please stop giving Rare orders to continually stray from what once made them great. They kinda suck now. Enough is enough. Do the HD remake, drop it on XBLA and watch the money roll in. I can't believe MS/Rare has waited this long to produce something that is GUARANTEED to make money. And in the end that's what it's all about. Cut the shit and let's go.
oh man oh man, i remember playing this game back in the dayz on N64 with my friends, i was like 14. My fav was Jago,with his sword combos. maaaaan, miss those times. i just wish i can play one day this game again :)
I loved this game so much I bought the arcade cabinet. Later I gave it to a best friend of mine because I was moving out of state. :/
