Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions' Hidden & Obscure Costumes

The Spider-Man of Activision's Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions has an impressive wardrobe, with an old-school Amazing outfit and a futuristic suit from the year 2099. At Marvel's video game Comic-Con panel today, Spidey's wardrobe rapidly expanded.

In addition to the Noir, Amazing, Ultimate and 2099 outfits, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions also features unlockable versions of Spider-Man's cosmic costume and the futuristic "Iron Spider" get up. Those two costumes are GameStop and Amazon.com exclusive.

I hate when they do this. Now you have to figure out where to get it to get which costumes.

Quagmire5029d ago

Sell them online for hundreds of dollars before Activagina releases a DLC pack containing all skins in a cheap bundle ala Transformers War For Cybertron

Spenok5029d ago

I think its almost literally imposible for him not to know who spiderman is. Especially since he has internet.

The real Colombian5029d ago

Eventually they'll charge us to get access to the diff costumes.

Really? K-Mart got the Scarlet Spider outfit. Good on them. Maybe I'll pre-order from them. I usually hate exclusive DLC but when it comes to Spider-Man, Scarlet Spider wins over Negative Zone. Gamestop has the Cosmic costume, which I assume is the Captain Universe costume, but idk. Wal-Mart will probably come up with one too, hell, even 7/11 will probably have one. Yeah, 7/11 sells games too. I'm as surprised as you are.

antihiroprotagonist5029d ago

fuck this. I'm tired of this pre-order exclusive bullshit. So, no matter where I get this shit from I can't get every costume. FUCK YOU Red Dead Redemption and I never thought I'd say it but, "FUCK YOU SPIDEY!"

I’d Die For A Web-Slinging Spider-Verse Game in the Same Visual Style As the Animated Films

TW: “With the recent release of the sequel film, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, I’ve been revisiting the astounding world of the Spider-Verse, enjoying both the prequel and the new sequel film in all their glory; and it’s led me to ask one question — why the hell isn’t there a Spider-Verse game?”

Didn't they already have that as a costume in the previous game.

purple101318d ago

There sure was a super sweet looking cell shaded suit. Made you feel like your actually playing a comic.

shinoff2183318d ago

The look is perfect we got enough games in that art style.

S2Killinit317d ago

It would still be sick though. And I dont mean cell shading to cut corners. It would have to be amazing like the movies themselves.

potatoseal318d ago

I too would like a whole game with the entire world looking like the animated movie. It could be awesome

jznrpg317d ago

I like this style better imo

"I only wish we had five years on any one of the Spider-Man games we made!"

Well, you don't have to work for Activision ya know. But yeah, they did a fair job considering the limited resources and well....Activision.
