Red Dead Redemption gets zombie mode

Rockstar has detailed its full DLC plans for Red Dead Redemption. And guess what? It's getting a zombie mode.

Some of this sounds cool, but I'm kind of over the Zombies fad and I'm tired of being nickle and dimed with DLC. So, I think I'll wait for the GotY edition that includes all of this stuff next year.

finally as i said before this mp has alot of potential and now they are gonna use some of it. it sound so awesome especially:

8 new locations... That part bugs me..

it will be awsome and i will buy it (though the second and 3rd are not interesting to me) but these will be locations that are already in the game..

traditionally with ROCKSTAR they have a game with a sh!t tonne of modes in them and then add 1 or 2.. this time they put a few modes and making us pay for more.. i don't like it.. compared to GTA i feel a little ripped off.. I mean the GTA DLC was $20 a piece and it was full SINGLE PLAYER games (short but full) this is just opening up stuff..

though i do like that the first DLC was free.. though i know it was on the disk cause the file size was TINY

Its Rockstar dude, there's very little details on the DLC right now to judge on what its worth. If I learned anything from R* especially after seeing their DLC for GTA IV, I'm certain it will be well worth, if not more then $10. Day 1 purchase for all DLC for this game for me.

I hope they do more with the zombies than what they did with GTA4. Would be cool if the whole world was slowly hit, town after town, spreading like a plague. But I'm guessing its just gonna be random occurrences. Either way it should be fun.

Makes you wonder if that video of that one kid finding a zombie in the game wasn't actually a glitch...

One gross but nice little detail already in the game is when you shoot someone in the head the exit wound is nasty. Torn flesh and everything.

Really? Now I'm going to have to get $30 or $40 for DLC. Couldn't they sell them all for $20? I really want all this but its mostly updates to the game. The maps and activitiesare already on the disc with updates for multiplayer compatibility. The actually content is not as much as it seems. it's awesome, because Red Dead Redemption is awesome, and i'm all for supporting DLC when it's making a quality game even better.

it's shitty, because i literally, just a week ago, came up with an idea for a story i'm going to write (and maybe draw), about Zombies in the old west, and what it would be like to have to survive against zombies with the limited tech and communications and means of transportation they had back then. my story was set further back than Red Dead (roughly in the 1880s, maybe some time after the Civil War). i think it could be really cool.

i'm still going to do it, but damn, it's going to come off like i'm biting RDR DLC. lol.

There hasnt even been alot zombie games in the past. This generation was a little different with NOTABLE games such as L4D, Dead Rising, Plants vs. Zombies, Waw:s Zombie mode and.. thats it?
Well if you dont like it dont like it. As a huge Romero fan I love anything Zombie related and this is a good plus for the RDR SP and MP. Cant wait! ^^
