Would have thought ... Well hoped that Resident Evil would be higher on the list

Queasy5083d ago

Unpossible. Doesn't have a broad enough appeal.

NecrumSlavery5083d ago

Resident Evil isn't a movie game.

I would of thought either Lion King, Aladdin, or Spiderman 2 the movie game.

My personal pick for best movie ip game: Evil Dead Regeneration. Loved the nostalgia and epicness that was.

NewsForSnowflakes5083d ago (Edited 5083d ago )

I thought the movie was average but compared all the other video game based movies I've seen, it was easily the best and will most certainly get it on blu-ray once it comes down to a reasonable price.

I just hope this will help to improve future movies and they get bigger budgets, better directors and more respectable actors.

Now if someone can just 'accidently' drop a piano on Uwe Boll's head I would be very grateful.

someone finally got it right.

Queasy5083d ago

Well, it also had a decent sized budget that ensured that it would at least be competent. Most game-based movies have embarrassing budgets.

alphakennybody5083d ago

the movie was a big pile of "polished poop" , it had great production value but the story sucked big time( too generic, been done way too many time) especially that horrid ending! like an old saying goes " no matter how polshied and shiny your poop is, in the end its still s poop"

Hellsvacancy5083d ago

Good job i didnt pay 2 watch it then ay, its popcorn crap thats what it is i wasnt expectin it 2 b anythin more, hence y didnt pay 2 watch it

Horny5083d ago

not necessarily eddy,ur poop could end up being Bono

bjornbear5083d ago

i'd rather my poop remain the same than turn into that turd

Ubisoft says they are focusing on two "core verticals," and that's to return as a leader in the open world genre, and live service games.

Calling Ubisoft a leader in open world gaming at any point in time would be like calling Dollar General a leader in retail.

excaliburps6d ago

Well, to be fair, they did pump out good open world games before. It was used as a template so much that people now know what it means when you say it's like an Ubi open world collectahon.

shinoff21836d ago

What though? I can't think of one game they had where I liked anything about it. Atleast since the ps3/360 Gen

Kornholic6d ago

If they have never been the leader in open world gaming, then explain me this: why does almost every open world game follow the same tired old Ubisoft open world formula?

Follow the Leader.

Aphrodia5d ago

YO dont' talk bad about the General. There'll be problems...

You were never the leader bro 🤣

shinoff21836d ago (Edited 6d ago )

I don't think they were ever the leader tbh. I've never really cared for any of their open world games. I do wanna try watch dogs 2 because it looks like it's set in San Fran. Looked interesting

Hey Ubi, here's a gun, don't shoot yourself in the foot.

*Ubi takes gun, aims at foot, empties clip*

Chocoburger34d ago

At this point, only dummies have any hope left for Ubi-junk games.
