Siliconera: As part of a rare and insightful interview with Develop magazine, members of Cave discussed how they approach developing shoot-em-ups for the Japanese audience and how, going forward, they feel they will develop them for a Western audience via their iPhone releases and other avenues.
Cave has a mega collection of shooting games according to Amazon Japan, which is taking reservations for the Cave Shooting Collection. This bundle includes 10 games plus downloadable content on seven DVDs.

ahem. well... is a game where we throw millions beans at once towards you and you need to dodge them all. in short a mess because i don't see where i am going all i see are hundred of colors messed up all over the screen.
UFO's Andrew Wang on game selection: "We would like to bring out good games, but in the end, we would like to stay in business, so we would like to see [if there is value in] the game - how easily marketable the particular title is, and how much of an audience there is for that type of game. So we take into consideration a lot of different factors and of course we want a fun game - a good title for people to enjoy."
Pretty dodgey on the Elminage question, which basically means "no, we're not bringing that over."
Can't blame him. It'd sell like 19 copies nationwide =/
