NowGamer: really wanted to hail Backbreaker as a revolution in sports games, but it just isn’t good enough. Too many niggles mount up and bring the experience down. All the same, the physics are incredible and it plays a decent game.

There are many sports franchises that are fantastic editions to the world of gaming, deserving both as an edition to their respective gaming field and to video gaming at large. Other franchises, however, have seen their time. It’s time for these franchises to go the way of the dinosaur before they get even worse than they already are.
Should be dissolved too. The yearly additions are essentially the same except for rosters, schedules, and new stadiums.
I would go as far as to say that most of these games are actually worse than the previous iteration.
