Seung-Mina from Soul Calibur is the Cosplay Babe of the Week

Jon Lynch: "This week when choosing the Cosplay Babe of the Week, we decided to dip into the bountiful well of the fighting genre and in particular a popular fighting series we’ve chosen from before – Namco’s Soul Calibur series.

It’s hard not to find a character worthy of being chosen from fighting games since most of the female characters in the genre typically choose to do battle in as little clothing as possible. We like to think it’s purely strategic and allows for fluid movement and better agility during battle. At least that’s the excuse we use when someone calls us out for picking a half-naked woman while playing games."

Most underrated Soul Edge hottie! She got even hotter in SC III. Still love Ivy though.

I still say Alisa Kiss's Cammy is the best cosplay for "sex appeal", although these girls are very talented.

djfullshred5069d ago

She is up there with the best female game characters IMO. Also like Hilde as another underrated SC babe.

Yes, I am a Soul Calibur geek haha. ;-)

About time. Check out the sissys complaining. I love these.

While cosplay is a large part of the gaming culture as evidenced by conventions and expos as well as huge events specific to cosplay of video game characters, it's not for everyone.

Some people get grouchy and complain. It's their opinion just like game platform preference.

Soul Calibur IV - 15 Years of Soul

Soul Calibur IV launched worldwide 15 years ago, bringing with it the best performance of the series to date.

Hell no. It was the start of the downfall (SCV) of the series. Huge downstep from the giant SCIII

purple101270d ago

Switched to unreal engine. Ruined it.

Used to love this series, probably my favorite 3D fighter, perhaps together with the now also dead Dead or Alive (2-3-4), but as with so many games in the fighting genre, their short-term greed (season passes) has made me lose all interest, sadly …

sagapo269d ago

Yeah, I remember playing Soul Caliber on my dreamcast at the time, that was insane!

sosro269d ago (Edited 269d ago )

the first three are much better games.

Loved Number 2 and 3( loved all the solo modes like chronicle of the sword ) so was super hyped when 4 came out but the lack of single player content was disappointing. Still love soul calibur to this day though

2 was definitely the golden era of Soul Calibur for me. I was a bit conflicted about it at times because there were 3 different versions (I liked the PS2 version for controls, I liked playing as Spawn the most, and I thought the addition of Link was really awesome). Even so, the single player content was outstanding. Easily the most fun I've had with a fighting game, followed closely by Tekken 5's single player modes
