Some of those seemed enjoyable.

DaysUntold5113d ago

I am going to go download Breath of Death VII right...now. That game looks like a blast from the past of my child hood :)

Shoot 1UP and Miner Dig Deep look really cool as well :P

GUCommander5113d ago

I want to check out Shoot 1UP, Breath of Death, and 3D Infinity. Those games look really good :P

Ziriux5113d ago

I really come to apprecaite some of the work indy devs. do.

GUCommander5113d ago

I wish more people would appreciate it. Without them games like World of Goo and Plants vs. Zombies wouldn't exist. Not to mention the 100's of games inspired by indie Developers.

KingKionic 5113d ago

Im surprised the impossible game wasn't on here .

GUCommander5113d ago

I'm sure it will be on a future episode. This was just #1 after all :P

“Hardcore” Gamers Are Wrong About Mobile Gaming.

What is the obsession with hating on mobile gaming? Is it because it’s popular? Yeah, Mobile gaming kind of sucks. The controls don’t work 90% of the time especially with games with emulated joy pad. You can’t play 30 minutes on it without the battery being half dead. You have to buy expensive controller peripherals that either doesn’t work with the games you have or don’t work at all. But to me, Mobile gaming is not the enemy.

No matter how many articles are written, mobile gaming is nothing more than a sometimes fun distraction.

"Nothing more than a sometimes distraction"

Wait a minute thats basically all gaming in general. All gaming is a temporary distraction from reality.

Now-a-days when we choose a game we take a lot of things into consideration, the story, the game play, and the graphics to name a few. Here are three indie games that serve the gameplay over the graphics

Remove Next-Gen and Xbox Live - xbl would be for talking specifically about the service, not games on the service.

What about Story? I can enjoy a game with lacking gameplay mecahnics or quality if it was a really good storyline (Game of Thrones RPG comes to mind, and the reason I can go back and play something like Shenmue or KOTOR without caring about the dated gameplay), but find I really cant enjoy a game even if it has amazing graphics and gameplay, if the story is awful or non-existant (RAGE is the perfect example).

Sometimes we get lucky though, and get a really good mix of all three.

Story is one of the most important factors for me when i'm deciding to purchase a game.

It really draws me in and makes me want to do things in it and gives me a reason. With no story it's just a guy running around killing people/completing random tasks (which can still be fun).
