Morrowind looking like Oblivion: Oldie-RPG with enhanced graphics

The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind is the predecessor of The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion - but with some mods the Oldie-RPG looks like its successor.Valitys_Balmora_Mod, Valitys_Bitter_Coast_Mod_4, Ultimate Textures and more Mods are used. But how does it look like? More through the link.

Looks great, I always felt Morrowind was a better game than Oblivion, maybe I'll go back and play it again with this mod.

My favorite RPG ever...next to Phantasy Star 1. I liked Oblivion a lot, but it lacked the depth I that Morrowind had. Great game.

jprg's strong story???? if your 11 years old

JRPGs are normally linear with strong story.
WRPG are normally open with strong game play.

Two different style rpg's. Doesn't mean JRPG's are trying to be like WRPG's. If that were the case, FFXIII would be open and not linear.

Morrowind in Oblivion, how perverse, I like it^^

Anyone who thinks this is an old rpg probably just started gaming last gen. Wanna know what old is? Look at Ultima. Now thats old.

I love this game. This is the only game I can remember playing for a full year. I just kept going back again and again. Great stores; true open world; massive amount of side quest; a true economic system... You could play so many different rolls. You could spend hours just going from city to city, stealing, doing odd jobs, joining factions and working your way to the top. Exploration and finding rare items, enchantments, sewers, dungeons and mountain tops. You could even swim and dive in any body of water. Early on, if you could not fight, you had to pay bandits to be able to cross bridges. And that monster with the alligator head use to scare the crap out of me (He was very strong with poison add that was my main weakness. I can't understand to this day, how they fit that much content on 1 DVD.

Good games but no Phantasy Star?

merlox347d ago

Why do people forget Phantasy Star? That is one of my favorite RPG series. Another ther good but overlooked series is ,Y's.

ES3 set things off, it's a shame they got greedy and decided to cut corners so the executives could get huge pay days.
