Why you should play Morrowind in 2023

Here is why you should play The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind in 2023. There are many reasons to play this gem and also some mods to make the experience better.

I've only ever experienced this game via the Morroblivion mod on PC. That was years ago. I have the GOTY edition for Xbox and it's in my backlog to play on Series X at some point. I'm a little apprehensive that the game might seem a bit archaic, Morroblivion had map markers and fast travel. I need my modern conveniences. I'd like to experience the game as it was intended at least once however.

Yea but we got Remasters and a VR version of Skyrim in a single generation. Mirroring is the game that Remastering should be made for. How weird is it that in a generation we got Onlivion and Skyrim and then another generation we get 2 remasters of Skyrim? The industry is really disappointing me as of late. I miss when we’d get so many releases and of new games/IPs… now, not so much.

I remember getting this game when It first launched. Put it down for months because I couldn’t get into it. Gave it another chance down the line and this has got to be one of my top 3 gaming experiences of all time. What we really need is that Nvidia RTX Remix they demoed for Morrowind but applied over the whole game. I jump back in every couple years and would love to do so on that! Shame Bethesda has no interest in remaking this themselves.
