CVG: Series 'not so different to Tolkien fantasy', says Blizzard's Creative VP
Blizzard Entertainment has announced the opening of beta registrations for “World of Warcraft: The War Within,” inviting players to explore new subterranean worlds beneath Azeroth.

to be fair most Fantasy lore derives from Tolkein in some way or another.
But the Warcraft lore has lasted for around 15 years so i think its earned its place
