BeefJack writes: "SquareEnix has an early Christmas present for players of its MMORPG Final Fantasy XI as long as they have installed all three of the recently realeased add-on scenarios.
With the release of FFXI's final add-on scenario, "A Shantotto Ascension", players will be given access to an item known as the Nexus Cape. Along with looking snazzy, the item also grants an ability long coveted by adventurers trudging through Vanadiel, teleportation."
A look back at the most difficult boss battles of all time in Final Fantasy.
I cant wait to see the dragons we will fight in FFXV. I hope the fights are tough as nails.
For those that truly understand the game mechanics and take advantage of them. Omega weapon will only actually have around 182k health.
Final Fantasy XI‘s Trust Initiative has been a revolutionary addition to the game. By allowing players to form small parties comprised of only themselves and a couple of NPCs, the leveling process has been eased in the wake of departing players.
Prishe and Ulmia – two NPCS from the game’s second expansion, 2004′s Chains of Promathia – will be added to the system next, nearly 10 years after their initial appearance. Square Enix has promised a full “platoon” of alter egos to follow.
Sometimes you need a little break. Like a weekend in Atlanta. Or 22/24 hours a day in an MMORPG. Or a 6-month-long backwards jaunt towards the roots of a game franchise. We finally managed to pry ourselves from the things we love though, and we recorded another show instead. It’s a worthwhile session too, complete with insinuated rape, killer nuns from the fifth dimension, and fake thugs eating Chick-fil-a out of Rolls Royces. We do not play on this show.
