CSM: Rapala: We Fish Review

As a fishing game aimed at a younger crowd, We Fish is a fairly enjoyable game, especially when you hook onto a fish. Featuring eight locations around the world with multiple tournaments in each, the game delivers a fair amount of challenge to keep you entertained. The mechanism to cast, hook, and reel in the fish is very satisfying and can easily be mastered by anyone, but unfortunately the included accessory makes for a tough transition back to driving the boat.

Rapala: We Fish - ZTGD Review

ZeroTolerance writes: The Wii continues to dictate how games are presented on the console. The latest is example is Rapala: We Fish, which is a follow-up to the realistic Fishing Frenzy that was released a year ago. The difference this time around is that the developers has completely switched the game around to be more casual-friendly, and of course feel more like a party game instead of a downright simulation. I guess playing to what works is the norm in the business these days, but for a game like We Fish it just doesn't mesh well. The Rapala series has always been better as a serious fishing game; this comes across as simply a wasted effort.

Crispy Gamer: Games for Lunch: Rapala: We Fish

Would Crispy Gamer play this game for more than an hour 50 minutes? No.
Why? They are not an eight-year-old fishing fanatic who received this game (his first and only Wii title) for Christmas from his loving but impoverished parents, and that's the only reason they can imagine for anyone enjoying this game.
