The entire final chapter of The Lost Legacy is the best setpiece in the series and it wasn't even mentioned.
I think Resistance 2 did it the best with the 8 player, class-based, random objectives co-op. Uncharted 2 does it great also, and the spec ops idea sounds pretty sweet.
