Gamesthirst writes: It's one of the most critically acclaimed titles of all time, some hail it as a full length blockbuster film, reviews from across the board have been overwhelmingly positive, and one magazine went as far as to break its own rule when it gave Uncharted 2: Among Thieves a 21/20. That's how great this game is. However, there was one more piece of the puzzle that needed to come in place, and it has. Sales of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves are soaring.

Currently playing Drakes Fortune on crushing, next will be to replay Among Thieves, but I'm sure it still holds up today.
I thought the originals were good, but not great. I understand that puts me in the minority here. That said, Uncharted 4 was freaking fantastic.
I think Uncharted 2 is a lot like AC2. Both games took the idea and basically improved it in every single way.
Cultured Vultures: What's your favourite moment from the Uncharted franchise? Here are 15 that got our blood pumping.
The entire final chapter of The Lost Legacy is the best setpiece in the series and it wasn't even mentioned.
I have been playing the demo and it is pretty good. The graphics are nice and the gameplay is fun. If I were going to say one negative thing and this is the only gripe I have had so far, is that some of the textures are kind of bland. I know it is a demo and has a little bit more time to polish, but they stick out like a sore thumb in such a beautiful game. Look at some of the stairs and various other spots and you will see some textures that just weren't finished, or were placeholder for the new ones... who knows. I like the co-op missions and the survival mode. I haven't played any objectives game mode as there just weren't enough people playing the demo or something. There were 7,797 people on last time I checked and it took a long time for the objective game match, so I backed out and played the others which loaded a lot faster.
Other than that, I am having a blast and look forward to the release of this game. It has to be good if the only thing I can rightfully point out are a few bland textures, that is saying a lot.
Also, I like the little noise that you get when you make a kill, kinda like Call of Duty 4.
in it's life time. Uncharted 3: Personal Mission (that's my title lol) will do 6.5 million in first year. Word on it!
Keep on dreaming.
unlike blind lemming bots who purchased halo ODLC without even knowing the quality of the game
those bots where probably disappointed with ODCL's looks, length, and hardness.. just like their girlfriends were with them
on first day or 5 million plus overall to cement itself to be a great game. That notion really must change because its obviously extremely stupid.
i blame x360 fans for this and they need to cut this crap out because its hurting gaming. Lets go back to last gen where game sales didn't factor in to games being considered great or not.
last gen when the PS2 was on top. PS fans didn't considered GTA3, GT3 FF10 or MGS2 to be great games because they sold 5 million plus copies each. On the opposite spectrum of sales were gems like ICO,SOTC,Okami,Fahrenheit which sold very badly but were in most PS fans top game list last gen. MY point is, games sales shoudn't be a factor in the past, now or in the future on how games are perceived as to weather they are great or not.
All these games were considered great for various things like graphics, story, gameplay, innovation, score/soundtrack,level design, lighting, level of immersion etc. None were considered great because of sales. I only started seeing this sales = great/quality crap with the release of Halo 2 last gen and it got worse this gen when x360 fans knew this is something that a few x360 games have over most PS3 games. It needs to stop because it will hurt truly great games that don't sell much. Watch groundbreaking games like Heavy Rain being dubbed a flop because it will not sell a million copies on day 1 by x360 fans. That kind of thinking needs to stop because if it becomes widespread it will discourage devs from crafting new gaming experience instead they will just bring out FPS number 234.
U2 will sell much. How much we don't know but how much it sell's should be irrevelant as to weather its a great game or not.
