Eurogamer writes: "Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 isn't vastly different to the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance, which was pretty similar to X-Men Legends 2, which owed more than a little to X-Men Legends. Trouble is, X-Men Legends came out in 2004, so the fact that the series has only shown incremental signs of evolution is cause for concern.
As before, a buffet of superheroes is spread out before you, all ready to mash their way through level after level of Diablo-style action-RPG gameplay at your command. You choose a squad of four - swapping them out on the fly, should you wish - and access their superpowers through the face buttons modified by the right trigger. Experience is earned for every enemy dispatched, and each level-up grants you the opportunity to enhance one or more of your abilities..."
Kevin F. from Link Cable Gaming writes: "Many of the best Xbox 360 games are playable on the Xbox One and Series X|S consoles. Some even with some enhanced visuals and performance. Unfortunately, not every game from the Xbox 360 library has received this glorious feat of being able to be played on more modern Microsoft consoles."
The Spider-man games will never happen. The xbox 360 Marvel Ultimate Alliance games have a better chance of happening than Spider-man titles but won't happen. The Xbox One Ultimate Alliance games delisted years ago
Yeah... you can totally forget about those entries that got delisted because of licensing issues. Those are not happening.
From PSU: "Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 on PS4 has returned to some PlayStation Store fronts after being delisted in 2018. Get the latest right here."
They should have added Alliance 1 with 2 and Xmen Legends still great games that I own and play.
Only for Europe at this time. 🙁 They were initially delisted the day before I went to buy them.
Grab it while you can asap. Fun game and it should already be backwards compatible on ps5. I already have the digital 2 pack of both original Marvel ultimate alliance games on xbox one. I purchased them on sale just before they got delisted
This month, nearly a decade to the month after the release of its predecessor, Nintendo released Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, a return to the beloved ARPG Marvel gaming series that takes comic book crossover mania to a team-based beat ‘em up conclusion. But it also serves as a reminder that...god, things were so different back when Ultimate Alliance 2 was coming out, weren’t they?
Yeah. Just wait until the next big storyline is revealed in the MCU. Then all the crossovers will be about that.
But the Infinity Gauntlet is one of Marvel's most famous and popular stories. Even the fighting game Marvel Super Heroes was about it back in the 90's, long before the MCU was even an idea.
I agree it's time to move on. But with the MCU becoming far more popular and reaching way more people than the comics ever did, sadly we are living in a world where the movies will dictate most other forms of media, not the comics. At least, that is, until the MCU eventually runs out of gas. Which it eventually will just like all movie trends. But it could take quite a while for that to happen.
soo 7 would be a metacritic score ? :>
Sold this game yesterday and got Uncharted Drake's Fortune, MUA2 is a waste of money comic fan or not don't even bother
