The ultimate action game ?
That's the question Gameblog try to answer through the test of the highly anticipated Uncharted 2 : Among Thieves on PS3.

Very Unlikely till Eurogamer and Edge reviews are counted.... But still this one has the shot to beat LBP as the best rated exclusive (PS3 and 360) on Meta (LBP is at 95)... Either ways, the reviews hardly matter. Get this game regardless if some dumb site gives it a 70-80 (Very unlikely)... Meta is only for bragging rights. Boy judging from the reviews, I seriously can't wait for this game.

MW2 has to be really really really really better than MW1 to bag the GOTY this year. Other wise, Uncharted 2 has it pretty much wrapped up from the looks of it. If GT5 comes out this year than mama mia....

...the Machinima mode for about 30 minutes and had a great time just messing around killing each other and setting up some random chit. Doing nothing in particular never seemed like so much fun before in a video game. Reminds me of Seinfeld, anyway cannot wait for U2 to drop.

It's damn near perfect in my book regardless of the reviews I see from this point forward. I've already made my decision by purchasing the game and how I cannot wait to get back to it when I'm not playing.

Might want to reel it in there a bit. Heroic only explained why people do it on both sides. He neither said he did it nor is there proof he disagreed with you. Most agrees and disagrees on this site are done by people who don't normally post in response to the person they're disagreeing/agreeing with.

Personally, I'd love to live in an ideal world where fanboyism wasn't about shouting down people who use something else and more about people just being open about their preferred systems and games without having to result to biased remarks and insults.

Uncharted 2 is getting amazing reviews. That said, we shouldn't be disappointed when the inevitable lower scores come in. I am sure it will receive extremely high scores overall, but you know, this game is going to be wonderful regardless of the scores it gets. The first one is probably my favorite game this generation and I knew I was going to buy the sequel the moment it was announced. No review scores can change that.

It is nice to see Uncharted 2 getting the recognition it deserves, though. I felt the first one was a little bit underrated, even though it did get generally high marks all around.

Perfect games depend on the person. Lots a people say MGS4 was perfect yet others, including me, find games like Killzone 2, L4D, and MW to be exponentially more entertaining. So yeah, it depends on the person.

Lol... Why the hate Dead? You seem to be on some sort of damage control.... This game is closest to perfection.. People are saying that this game is better than the first which itself says that it's GOTY since the first one was no less.

MW2 will be good, but this game is head and shoulders above it in terms of production value and dialog delivery (this I say from all the videos I saw... Simply awesome script work and voice acting)... I can't argue since it's your opinion, but if I only had 60$, I would ANY DAY buy UC2 before MW2. The graphics are absolutely JAW DROPPING, the gameplay seems smoother than the first (not that the first one didn't have fluid gameplay), the voice acting is as great as always... This is like a hollywood blockbuster...

Don't know what obsession people have with MW2... Seems the same old thing to me with just a few things added here and there... In fact I doubt if I will even enjoy this as much as KZ2... Thats just me.... I really am tired of FPSes as of now... UC2 GOTY hopefully...

Considering that neither of us has played Uncharted 2 in its entirety, we can't assume the game's actually quality until we play it. Personally, I am an Uncharted fan. The first title was excellent but it also had its share of 'imperfections' considering it was a new IP.

I don't know about the borderlands, when they changed the graphs, but we'll see. One I'm really looking forward to is FP2: Dragon Rising. (And the Fallout 3 DLC is a nice touch too 'cause that game has a lot offer)

If anybody decides to give a slow score to this game I hope that they do it because that's how they really feel about the game and not because they want to bring the score or ND's reputation down.

It's not for me because quite frankly, I (and everybody else) already know that the game will be amazing in every way, but if one of few devs need to be rewarded any way the can, Naughty Dog is definitely one of them and I wish they can get the credit they deserve for working their asses off to improve DRASTICALLY an already amazing first game.

This game really deserves the great reviews it's getting. Naughty Dog really care about the consumer, and it was hard not to notice that when I met a few of their staff at E3. Great guys, and they make great games. Uncharted 2, you cannot come out fast enough!

Sorry Dead Your crap logic baffles me... Games like God Of War and SOTC last gen didn't even have a multi-player mode, yet are rated as the best last gen games... YES people ENJOYED GOW and SOTC more than Halo or COD last gen....

There is NO WAY the crap EXPANSION from M$ is as good as Uncharted 2..... YES I say that without even playing that game, but I can bet my PS3 if you want..... Have you freaking lost it.... This game has upped the anti for EVERY game out there.. Killzone 2: Best FPS (I will laugh if you bring MW2 here cause frankly, it isn't even half a game KZ2 was... 16 P2P online, outdated PS2 graphics and a noob auto aim control)
Infamous: Best Super Hero game (Even Batman, but hell it was better on the PS3 anyway).
GT5: Ultimate Definitive Racing Sim.. Pushing boundaries with 1080P, 60FPS with 1000 cars... Unrivaled.

I will any day spend more time on most games which have online mode... Hell Il spent more time online on a crap game like Haze that doesn't mean that I won't enjoy GOW3 since it will only have a single player mode...

Yeah, I see what you mean about Borderlands, but I think it'll work.
We'll have the "serious" post-apocalyptic FPS with Fallout 3 and Rage, so I think we have room for a cel-shaded one.
Plus, the "Diablo" aspects (random looting, leveling up, etc) make the game very attractive, IMO.
