White Knight Chronicles: Trailer & Screens

GamersDigest have uploaded a trailer and new screenshots from White Knight Chronicles.

White Knight Chronicles is an epic fantasy tale about two kingdoms in midst of a longstanding war. The King of Balandor, wishing to put an end to the war, invites the duke of Faria to his castle to celebrate his daughter's coming of age. But this celebration is sabotaged by the Magi, a rogue sect seeking to steal the White Knight, an ancient weapon of war sealed beneath Balandor castle, in order to take over the world.

Mine too Level 5 are getting better and better with each RPG and with online play its gonna be amazing. I am a huge FF Fan and this is the only RPG I am looking forward to more than FFXIII and Versus.

But in some way it remindes me of a cross between Xenogears and Gundam series, I know theres very little to know about the story, etc. If someone knows the real story I'm all ears but still I see something related to those games from what I've seen so far

cool, very slept on underrated and under promoted jrpg..

i speak to some fellow 360 owners who claim to be rpg heads but said they had no interest in LO or said they played it but didnt like the game at all.

come to find out the only games they consider rpg's are oblivion and mass effect..

I respectfully disagree. Although FFXIII was gimped because of the failbox, I honestly think its still better than WKC. No offense to WKC fans. Just my honest opinion. :)

Agree "gabe", this looks like PS2 game compared to FF13, and from comments, it doesn't play that well. Few years ago this was one of my "Most looking too" , now i chuckle when i see this video. Looks so mediocre, with that song trying to make it stand out

Everyday, xbots, are confronted with game after game being a PS3 exclusive while their own system is collecting dust when its not RRODing.

It truly sucks to be an xbot. Being an xbot is also a sign of stupidity. As gamers can immediately recognize who is the dumbest people in the room is by looking at the console they bought. this game was never based on visual. No one expected this to be a major hi graphic game like FF13 is. Thisd game is just great, its has great graphics but not the best and the gameplay is awsome. Comparing this to FF13 ya obviouse FF13 looks better, SE are known for that. Whitenight has a great story and gameplay.

Blue Dragon has gone to Nintendo DS. The Last Remnant is on PC and coming to PS3. 10 bucks says Star Ocean 4 will follow the same way.

With Demon's Souls and White Knight Chronicles not to mention Valkyria Chronicles and Eternal Sonata, there's no way I can play FF13 in between, a mid-year release by 2010 will give me all the time I need!

Why is it taking a year and a half to get this game released to the world? Is there really that much text? FFXIII will be released 6 months after the japanese released date, so im puzzled what is the hold up with WKC b/c I want this game so bad.

I was pretty pumped for this game but after waiting so long im not really all pumped for it anymore. Still looks ok but i think if i had to choose an RPG right now it would be demon souls.

This game has quite unfortunately been pushed off my must-buy list. Demon's Souls, FFXIII , Dragon Age Origins look like better games. Best case scenario: I get it off ebay for less than $40 next summer. Sorry Level 5, I love you, but your localization on this game is unacceptable.

I think what people are forgetting is that Level 5 is adding some new content to the localized game for us so its not just the localization that they are doing. I'm also assuming they are fixing any known bugs and whatever else is needed. I do agree that it is taking way to long to bring over but I have faith in Level 5 that they will bring over a quality product and that we will all be happy that they took the extra time and care into the US and Europe versions.
