Rockville, MD. Bethesda announced today that the next Fallout game, New Vegas, will be created entirely in a pastel color palette.
"We had really thought that browns and grays were crucial to capturing the very essence of a post-apocalyptic landscape, but after reading many complaints in Kotaku forums about the limited color palette of Fallout 3, we have realized that we were dead wrong," Bethesda's President of Marketing, Ted Sandill, said.
"We're going to add tons of rainbows, frolicking puppies, playful kittens, and cuddly bunnies to New Vegas. Maybe some majestic unicorns. We will also change the colors of weapons and accessories. Power armor, for example, will now be exclusive mauve. That should really push the color palette to broader horizons and strengthen the impression of total nuclear armageddon," Sandill added.
Sandill said that Bethesda is enlisting Paas and Lisa Frank to make sure that New Vegas turns out to be the product that choosy gamers really desire.
BLG writes, "Some of the most popular games have had a rough start, with some of them being downright unplayable.
Despite that, developers have managed to turn it around for them and make their game worth playing. Here are some games that had a rough start but were pretty great."
Sea of Thieves... I'm not disagreeing that the game has improved in terms of content. But I feel that the most significant change between now and its release is actually the public perception. Nowadays, most people are aware that the game is a multiplayer PvP-focused experience first and foremost, and not "Black Flag made by Rare". Consequently, people dismissing the whole experience because the single-player aspect is lacking or the story is plain are much less common.
Days gone! By the end of the game I couldn't drop it down! I went around so many hours killing zombies! It was addictive by the end.
The Fallout Anthology Edition is coming to PC very soon, and is packaged with some very S.P.E.C.I.A.L. bonuses.
It’s an awful downgrade to the last one they did
They included physical disc back then
I would love the classic fallout games on console. Closest I could find was atom rpg, I liked that one a lot
Getting free games is never a bad thing and Amazon Luna has new offerings for Fallout fans looking for free adventures in the Wasteland.
This is sarcasm with class
For one painfull moment I thought that headline might be legit.
I thought maybe a Borderlands angle.
Fuk I'm easy sometimes.
Wonder how they will respond to the people complaining about bugs in their game !!
Must be more of the sarcasm
hahahaha funny
i get the sarcasm, but the author is obviously too stupid to realise that bethesda is not developing the game... if they had written someone from obsidian had sad that more people may have been fooled, if you wanna be sarcastic you have to go all out...make it seem semi plausible
