Good as MGS, R&C, FF, KZ etc are going to be, the xbox 360 has just as good titles to counter them. But the Wii & xbox has nothing that can counter LITTLE BIG PLANET.

I'd wish you so called gamers would open your minds and see that this game is going to be a monster hit. It's going to win the hearts of millions - including guys like myself who love smashing through tackles playing weekend Rugby League. It's not just a kiddies game. It's just pure, unadulterated fun....FUN. For all ages and genders.

Also, user-created content is the future of gaming and demonstrated with LBP. Imagine creating your own level/mission for Halo, Gears, FF, MGS, KZ, Forza, GTA....then posting on the net for others to play, rank, comment on. Build yourself a reputation as a great level designer...maybe even be offered a job from a developer. Okay, that may be pushing it a bit but you can see what I mean.

So, stop underestimating this game. It will finally turn the tide in favour of Ps3 and set the standards for games to come......user-created content.....the future.

2008 is going to be a great year.

I have to do it....I just watched the Killzone trailer....'Sighs' Again!...And I must say....If Killzone 'EXCEEDS' expectations.....It might just make Crysis look bad....Of course then again....All I saw was all of this dark sky lighting...So it's hard to tell exactly how good the lighting is....But to put it this way....If you think this game graphically will be as good as that trailer....You are all mistaken....I'm not crapping the RSX or the Cell....Cause I know how powerful the two combined can and will be, but it's just not possible for a game to look like that on any current next-gen console...GRAPHICALLY!.....Now .....Physic's...Playstation 3 owners....You should all be so fortunate...And those smart enough to pick up the 20 gb version are lucky as well...Cause you can still upgrade your harddrive.....I still have to pay 620 plus dollars on a damn playstation 3 to enjoy such physic's...

But overall...You're releases along with Xbox360 owner's release's...With the exceptions of a few major title release for each system....Aren't gonna 'exceed' expectations on any grounds for quite sometime...Unless Blue Dragon proves to be the worthy advesary to square-enix and FFXIII...I say this because we all know that the original Final Fantasy creator was the lead designer/programmer...And he is the one responsible for Blue Dragon...

So all Playstation 3 needs....F*CK a stupid first person shooter game for you damn game system....The same goes for the Wii, and the 360.....But especially the PS3...We all know that random RPG's that could change someone's out look on life for the PS 2 is what made the console so big.....I don't know about you, but I'm jone'sing for a damn good next-gen RPG right now?

That's a horrible list as you all ready pointed out, it's missing Heavenly Sword, NG, and Uncharted. Games I'm all going to buy along with GT, Lair, Ratchet and Clank, and MGS. Along with Mass Effect, Bioshock, Forza 2, Halo 3, GTA 4, Assassin's Creed, Stranglehold and I am still missing some. But holy hell that's $840 this is an expensive hobby!!

What game do you remember spending more than one hundred hours hours that left a ever-present reminder or life changing experience or thought or got you emotional involved or some form of excitement other than maybe Oblivion?....I can think of some, Medieval?, Final Fantasy 5-12, Legend of Legia, Legend of Dragoon (AWESOME, AWESOME GAME), Xeno-Sage (all episodes), Fantasy Star Online (1-3)...And these are just a few....

And I know you saw my fine print up there too when I said a few major title release's....You know exactly what I meant when I said it!.....

We need good RPG Damn It! bring back the great stories, not just good graphics only! I'm a story person, so I was a little dissapointed in FF12 due to untouchy characters, story, an I never got a feel of the main hero of that game, to be honest I never had a true feeling of any of the characters like I did on FFX. I just want my FF series to come out, Tekken 6, an Ratchet & Clank! Thoes games have a good story as well as good graphic!

Hopefully, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction will be a lot better than Ratchet: Deadlocked. I missed Clank from the last series and I believe the story would have been better if they implemented him more into it rather than the cut scenes.

Killzone 2 bettering the trailer - i would rush out and buy a PS3 right now if this was likely , but it aint.I almost died when i saw the E3 film but even PS4 will struggle matching that level of movement and interactivity.

I'd happily play Lair , Heaven and Motostorm for my 360 as they look fun but this next gen on all formats apart from the Wii , is very old already.All we seem to be seeing is extra gloss on top of existing gameplay ideas - am i the only one that thinks games are getting a little stale.HD is great but when are games going to evolve a bit more and become something different and exciting like they should be with all this extra power.

On the subject of Motostorm , even though i'm obviously way off topic here. Finally got to see it running in Currys today and while it is certainly quite nice , it sure aint unbelievable and i came away after 15 mins or so playtime feeling quite let down.Nowhere near the quality of the trailer and i wouldn't be suprised if people seeing this running in stores , are actually put off a PS3 purchase.And to think i was worried about how much better PS3 supposedly is.Maybe in time we will see the difference but will it be so damn huge that the average joe sees it as well.

Motorstorm does not live up to the expectations of the trailer at all but to each his own.

And honestly I dont believe anything a sony exec says unless they have some hard factual proof so I dont think any element of killzone looks anywhere close to the trailer but there is still a year left so things can change but I wouldnt hold my breath.

Motostorm plays just fine and i'd be chuffed to play it because it's clearly a good game.Don't forget that 400 quid really isn't a lot so if i'm desperate that much to play it then i will.

You bet i want to play games showing potential like Lair and Heaven but to be jealous of these would surely mean that i'm unable to buy a PS3 - it aint that hard frankly if your in work geeze.If Sony can give me an amazing reason for having to do this right now then i'll happily join the party.360 is the best place to be right now and PS3 isn't showing anything of a reason to pay another 400.Give it time maybe but sure not now.

What about yourself , it seems you are very much a PS3 fan.Does this mean you don't have a 360.What of the games already for this format - are you not slightly envious of these and future titles.All three systems are going to have games we want and that might just mean we have to have all 3.I don't currently want to get a PS3 considering there is no amazing reason right now and it doesn't help that graphics are less astounding than they were hyped to be.I may have to get one eventually because i may miss out but like a lot of folk , i'd rather wait.

Can you even remember how truly astounding PS3 was looking way back when all we saw was supposed in game footage of Killzone , Motostorm and Warhawk.It's seriously disapointing stuff to see the end results and so i'm really rather pleased there having a hard time of it for all there BS.

A very good list, hope the PAL versions comes out very soon as well... we just want more PS3 titles released here in Australia as there's only a few really cool games to get around here.
