Level 5 is not responsible for localizing their games. They will have been hard at work on many projects since they finished WKC in Japan since they people who make the games to begin with (within Level 5) have nothing to do with the localization translation process.

It's funny that some people here are excited about this story. If they are to announce a new game, then expect it to hit Japan first and then be released worldwide 2 years after lol. Game was announced as a launch title for PS3. It was delayed since Level-5 didn't want to condense the story and drop the quality since they had plans to make it big. It was released in Japan. Now it's being localized for us. This isn't anything remotely new in the gaming industry so your upset is pretty laughable.

I'd love to see something more "adult". Not guns and blood, just serious melodrama and emotional undertones - with cutting edge graphics, special effects and character models too, of course :)

A real spectacle.

Something like a PS3 version of Lost Odyssey would be a dream come true. (I have all 3 systems, I slightly favor the PS3, but I can easily admit that Lost Odyssey was brilliant. Be a gamer, not a fanboy. If you haven't played it yet, and are a JRPG fan, it's the best title in the 360 lineup bar none.)

P.S. I've seen Legend of Dragoon mentioned a few times in this post and that would be EPIC.

I've been waiting for a prequel/ remake for almost a decade now.

Fable 2 is no JRPG Fart, Star Ocean 4 is just laughable with its 480p resolution and overall crappy game.
Demon's Souls, Valkyria Chronicles and WKC are all scored better and sold better (I know how you bots like sales so Im using the same tactics) than any of your JRPG's combined. Btw, LO wich is supposed to be the best JRPG on the box has a meta of 78. Now that's a flop.

I would hardly consider VC a JRPG. It's a strategy game with RPG elements. You can rank up your squads and change their gun. That's it.

Vesperia was a far better game IMO. And the reason I mentioned VC sales is because your buddy up there brought it up.

It is still jrpg. You recruit members and upgrade your tanks and weapons. Jrpg is a broad definition, and it doesn't exclude games that have both strategic and rpg elements.

but it cant be dragon quest. that game belongs to enix (squareenix) so level 5 cant be announcing that. level 5 only has a hand in the development of that game, thats it, because SE hires them to. so only SE would be in the position to make any announcement about a future DQ game
