EA Sports President Peter Moore was interviewed at E3 2009 about the company's fighting franchises. He noted that Fight Night and Mixed Martial Arts releases will alternate years. Adding Fight Night Round 5 would then arrive in 2011.
It’s been almost a decade since the critically acclaimed Fight Night Champion, the final title in a series of beloved boxing video games from Electronic Arts. Since 2011, the studio has been focused on its mixed martial arts title, UFC, instead. But with the rise of the popularity of boxing again, thanks to fighters like Floyd Mayweather and Tyson Fury, could we possibly have another Fight Night game on the way?
I honestly cannot state enough just how much i want a new fight night!!!
Boxing is one of my fav sports to watch and it has been way to long since iv had a game to enjoy.
Undisputed looks like a ps3 game, cmon EA, stuff UFC, give the people what we really want which is a boxing game!!!
IT'SSSSSSSS FIIIIIIGHT NIIIIIIGHT!!!!
I hope they make it like round four instead of champions but ill take any fight night at this point
They need to go back to the good roots of FN R2 and FN R3. Everything after watered down the formula too much and enabled gimmicks. FNR2&3 are some of the greatest fighting games ever.
Polycount’s member ‘CatDixon’ has created an amazing boxing club in Unreal Engine 4 that reminded us of EA Sports’ Fight Night series.
It would probably look better at the cost of texture loading issues and poor performance
DSOGaming writes: "Before starting, I would like to let everyone know that this is an opinion article and the ways I’ve arranged the games are mostly due to my preference of gaming. Also the choices are games that are likely to be ported, so you won’t see me list out First-Party games like Uncharted or Halo. I will be considering multi-platform titles only in this piece."
we do need mk9 and red dead on pc just thinking about the mods for them makes me drool
Should of called this article 1 game that should be on PC this should be Red Dead Redemption, don't need any of the others :)
That's a fine time in-between this game and FNR4.
I bet i'm the only one who enjoyed the demo too. =/
Im happy with this, every 2 years is good. As it gives more time to change the game and offer a new experience, instead of creating yearly realeses with little to no improvements and charging £40 for it, when its essentially the same.
Im also very interested in their MMA game, if they can make it as good as fight night it will be amazing.
Can we worry about Fight Night Round 4 please?
