Crisis Core Leads Ultimate Hits Inductees

Square Enix have announced that they will be added six new titles to their 'Ultimate Hits' collection, which will now have 51 different titles featured.

They have been releasing their Ultimate Hits collection for a couple of years now, and this year they've decided to add six new titles to the range, most of which are from the PSP.

How long you been gaming?

97gsx5449d ago (Edited 5449d ago )

Honestly you guys should be hitting yourself. The last good square enix game was final fantasy 10. The only great thing crisis core was a great disappointment.I still own my snes copy of mariorpg and chrono trigger so I can say I have been gaming a longg time. Remember square enix not squaresoft.

_Q_5449d ago

I've been gaming since the Square days and even if they didn't incorporate Square titles into the "51" Square Enix is essentially the EA of Japan. They make a crap load of games most of us don't even see. They're immensely huge, and for you to be so ignorant and and assume that such a respected dev/publisher doesn't have that many good games in their arsenal is just plain dumb. You also forget that your opinion(as misguided as it may be ) does't determine a games success. Obviously, a super sucessful comapny knows what they're doing and is bound to sell a few games despite your daunting criticism.

You guys must be young because comparing square-enix to squaresoft is like comparing obama to bush. I cant think of one good thing out of square-enix. Seriously squaresoft was by far the best company of all time. And then enix came and automatically all the games became crap. Not one game from square-enix is equal to what squaresoft was putting out.

Edit ff10 was squaresoft and so was kingdom hearts and those were the last good ones. Also reply to mquirozz what does having a ton of releases have to do with quality? people buy square-enix games because they hope for the same quality from before enix.

Final Fantasy I Pixel Remaster – Step Back in Time

Gary Green said: It’s interesting to revisit the roots of your favorite franchises to see first-hand what’s changed and what’s stuck around all these years, though perhaps ‘visit’ would be more accurate than ‘revisit’ since apparently, Europe wasn’t worthy of the original six Final Fantasy games the first time around. By the time we started getting ports of these iconic games, we’d already been through the PSOne JRPG golden age. So we’d already seen the best of what Final Fantasy had to offer, while these predecessors looked outdated, unrefined, and (dare I say it) ugly. We aren’t bitter about the delayed releases, honest…

I'd buy it for the Switch but a NA copy runs for $800.
